Excellent space, amazing view, very clean. We had a wonderful time celebrating our 10th anniversary here. We love the location and would definitely stay here again!

This property offers everything you need...great beach access, amazing pools, a delicious onsite restaurant and lots of other amenities. The condo was very comfortable, clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The partial ocean view was perfect for morning coffee on the lanai.
My only issue was that the shower curtain had pretty bad mildew stains but, it is an easy replacement to fix. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great, easy to book and easy check in. Only downside to this room is its north facing so you don’t get any direct sunlight. Everything else was no complaints

We had a great stay! Our only complaint was that the hallways echo very bad so there was a lot of noise coming into the room from the hall, but other than that, everything was great!

Absolutely as advertised. Perfect for family of 4. Great view. The resort was great with both pool(s) and the beach right out your door. The apt came with beach chairs and an umbrella and the resort provided all the towels you could need. Nice location near restaurants, the town of Lahainu and as a home base to explore the island

We loved this property. Great location! Construction going on which was a bit nosiey by the pool. Other than that perfect, clean and beautiful! Would stay there again!!!!!!!

Loved staying at this property. It was spotless and very comfortable. Sitting on the balcony early mornings and watching whales offshore was priceless.
Parking underground (cool) and having access to the lawn chairs, coolers, and ice in the garage was very helpful.
Beautiful balcony, view is perfect! Very clean. Kitchen and bathroom as advertised - very happy with everything in those areas. The only thing that we weren’t aware of, and maybe this is because we just didn’t read the full contract, is that the hotel amenities aren’t really included. (Towels, etc). You have to call the property management company, not the front desk. Same with checkin. I wouldn’t remove a star for this though and we said we would absolutely rebook this exact condo again next time we go to Maui. Overall 10/10 recommend!!!!

Honua Kai is a great resort for families. The studio has a wonderful view and is in a great location!

Perfect room with ocean view for a couple.
I traveled with my 2 daughters (27 & 30). The studio was so beautiful and clean. We had plenty of room. This unit is well laid out so there’s actually plenty of privacy. Beautiful view! We watched whales on our balcony.
By different owners. So for this particular unit I’d say…need to upgrade kitchen appliances..have 4slice toaster, add crockpot air frier, more bowls. It would have been nice if it had ziplock baggies, sran wrap, aluminum foil. More mirrors perhaps hang a long full body mirror in hallway, poor lighting in kitchen (maybe add pot lights) poor poor lighting in bathroom too. There are no cleaning products in room except dish soap, so it was hard to keep place sanitized unless I purchased the products myself. The bed post wheels stick out of bed which my husband stumped his toe a number of times. And maybe consider adding a few more useful beach items…ie…body boards, football, frisbee, game boards for rainy days
But overall this resort is FANTASTIC and would definitely becoming back for a forth time.
We fully enjoyed our stay. Even with Covid restrictions, the stay was so worth it.
The property is beautiful. We loved the fitness center, the pools, the beach, and the boardwalk area. Having Dukes there was nice if/when you need a food option as the food is always good. We stayed in studio condo that overlooked the pool and the ocean. It was well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen as well as beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler. We used the chairs and cooler often! The shuttle service was great, but limited service. It would be great if it ran 7 days a week and until 9 or 10pm. We did use it and found the driver very helpful in local info and saved the hassle of driving/parking.
Amazing place! Loved everything about it; the view, that our lanai doors opened up wide and we could listen to the waves, snorkeling and swimming at our beach was great, location fantastic, the fun family vibe at the resort , the spacious modern suite 👍
