Kia Ora. One of the best weeks holiday in years. We are 4 couples, all good friends and capable cooks so we ate in mostly and really enjoyed the house inside and out. A couple of things didn’t work well but that didn’t bother us at all. A big spacious house with the ability to accommodate our group was not easy to find so we’re happy. To that we add that the Kona region, and its golf courses, have left us with many great memories. Ka kite ano Tim

The pictures are dated. The property has more of a jungle motif with LOTS of flora and fauna not represented in the photos. The jungle motif, while beautiful in its own way, also has its disadvantages in terms of gnats and insects at night. If you are looking for ocean views as the photos illustrate, you will be disappointed. The sliding doors do not seal effectively. You could put a finger in the gap on both the screen and glass doors. The pans in the kitchen should be thrown away. The pool looks inviting but was a disappointment, aside from the salt water. Which was nice opposed to chlorine. There is only one safe entrance to the pool, which is the steps. What looks like a gradual slope into the pool is actually quite drastic. You cannot walk out of or into the pool safely without using the steps. The “fitted sheets” in the master do not stay “fitted” and at least a once mid sleep nightly refitting was required. The interior photos are for the most part accurate. There were partially used water bottles left in the house on counters. Floaties left around the pool. Discarded tiki torch canisters around the pool. Cushions on the lounges around the pool were partially on the lounges, partially not when we arrived. Attention to detail was definitely lacking.We have stayed at other properties in the same area and will stay at them again.

Truly a hidden oasis. Beautifully decorated and comfortable inside and out. A very nice breeze due to the location that made the temperature in the house perfect. More amenities than other locations we've stayed at. Very spacious to host 2 families of 4. This home felt very safe and is conveniently located to town! I highly recommend!

Kona Bubbles was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday. Having 4 bedrooms for myself and my friends worked out perfectly. The views from the house were amazing and the pool was so much fun to relax by. We loved all the fruit and flowers on the property as well. The house was fully stocked with just about everything you could think of. Would totally recommend staying here if you want a nice quiet beautiful house to relax in.
Kona Bubbles was our home for 12 days in November. Despite our flight being late, the property manager was at the home to greet us and show us around the property. It is a very special place. Located at about 650 ft elevation, the house gets wonderful breezes and some light rain in the afternoon. The ocean boasts incredible ocean views and immaculate landscaping. The majority of our time was spent outside around the pool but the home is incredibly beautiful too. Incredible bird watching at this altitude many of which would take a short bath in the pool in the afternoon. This property was a great setup for our multigenerational family and we enjoyed every starry night we spent here.

Our stay at Kona Bubbles was absolutely wonderful! The pictures are stunning but the place is even better in person! We had such a relaxing and easygoing stay at the rental. It was equipped with so many convenient things that took away many of the hassles of figuring out what to bring, buy, or plan for. We were able to do plenty of food prep and have the items needed to bring what we needed out to the beach and our other adventures. Having a bathroom setup for each room, the private ohana suite, the pool, and ample space made the stay comfortable for everyone in our party. We were a little surprised that there wasn’t AC as we are not acclimated for the warmer humid weather, but having screen doors with good air flow (and many fans available too) was actually quite nice and gave a true tropical experience. The various plants and layout make for such a beautiful outdoor space. We loved trying the garden’s fruits and seeing all the wildlife in the area. Truly, truly an incredible stay. Thank you so much for hosting us, we would love to visit again.

Great location with very private pool area. Loved how it was cooler in evenings compared to lower elevations we've stayed at before.
We had an amazing week on the Big Island of Hawaii and at Kona Bubbles. The house is beautiful and it was perfect for our family. It was spotless and really well maintained. The pool was great and the house had everything that we could have needed. The location is great with really breathtaking views and sunsets from the pool area. Can’t wait to return one day.

Seamless experience staying at this vacation rental -- from in person check in till the last day. Highly recommneded
The house was exactly as described online. Loved having 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Perfect for my husband and I in the ohana and our 3 grown children with their partners in each of the main house bedrooms. Property is a very short drive to Kona, had everything you could need for a beach day, nice safe gated community, was clean and had a pantry full of spices and other basics for cooking. Would definitely return to Kona Bubbles.

This home is spectacular! The suites all have their own bathrooms and the beds are super comfortable. The home was sparkling clean and in this day and age that is important. The kitchen was spacious enough for multiple cooks and multiple people to help clean up. Pool was great for little ones too!
