Quiet, comfortable property. Great location. Host and on island staff helpful and responsive to our needs.
We loved staying at this property and look forward to returning! The condo itself is fully kitted out with everything you need for the beach (e.g., beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler) and for the kitchen (including oils/spices). Very comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 4, lovely private lanai, and parking right outside our door. Excellent communication from the owner and clear instructions for getting to and entering the condo and property amenities. Pretty landscaping and two pools plus hot tubs on property. Location is excellent- just across the street from Kamaole beaches, short drive to Wailea, and only 25 minutes to the airport. We travelled to all parts of the island from this home base and everything is close by. Thanks for everything Dorothy!
We had a great time at this property. Great location close to everything. Pools were nice, we specifically liked the one with the waterfall! Private ground level lanai was beautiful. Kitchen had all the amenities. The beach supplies were great! Communication was great from Dorothy. The only con I have is the guest bedroom doesnt have a real door and you can hear everything going on in the common area and it is lit up easily by outside light. So it did keep my daughter up when our other guests were in the kitchen/living room. You also have to use the hall closet to hang up clothes, as the guest room has no closet. I would definitely return to this property in the future!
It was a lovely rental with a beautiful gardens. The location was great and easy to get around . Our family had a wonderful time and love the memories we made together at this location . Dorthy was wonderful with communicating with me . I would love to return soon to this rental . Thank you
The property was as advertised and the communication with Dorothy was solid. We had a hiccup with the door code on night one, but Dorothy answered very quickly to fix it. We were traveling with our 8-month-old son and we chose this property to make accommodating him as painless as possible. We were very pleased that a diaper changing pad and travel crib were included. There were plenty of sheets, blankets, and pillows which was also great. The washer and dryer were a must and we were very thankful for those as well.The waterfall pool was peaceful and close so taking our son down to the pool to splash around was great. The lanai was nice and well shaded during the hot days. The location is fantastic if you are planning to dive Molokini Crater like we were. You can just walk down to the boat launch across the street and hop on the boat each morning. That was probably my favorite thing about the property.
The property and pools were amazing. Very quiet. The condo was really nice and has everything you need; beautiful beach across the street and a few restaurants and a store within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location & lovely furnishings & amenities. We loved the ground floor lanai & of course the waterfall pool! Highly recommend a stay here!

Maui Kamaole is a beautiful complex. The complex is meticulously maintained & is beautifully landscaped. The unit is large, very close to the pool with waterfall, private & quiet. The unit itself needs some work. The furniture is fine however the unit requires re-painting & a deep clean. The walls are stained & marked. Our first day the internet stopped worked so I tried to reset the modem myself. All of the electronic equipment was covered in dust & grime. The manager came in & got the internet working by late afternoon We used the washing machine on our 4th day & discovered a big leak that flowed into the hallway floor. We stopped using the machine and spoke to the manager. They came, pulled the machine out & and behind it was garbage & things that had fallen down behind & very dirty. Unfortunately the machine could not be repaired before we checked out as a part had to be ordered from off island which we understand. The communication about the repairs & machine were not good. The machine could not be pushed back in the cupboard so for the rest of our stay it was partly in the hallway & the cupboard doors could not be closed. The patio light had burned out but the owner asked if I could change it which required me to stand on a rattan bar stool to reach. In hindsight, this was not a safe thing for me to do. The owner mentioned that each call to the manager was expensive. The 2nd bedroom (windowless) has a broken table lamp switch & does not work.
A lovely spacious unit, clean and fully equipped to make our stay enjoyable in Maui, perfectly located for beach lovers!
The property was nice. Dorothy usually got back to us quickly. I would say it would be a five star review except for confusing directions to get to the place. If you follow your gps and then once in development follow signage you’ll get there with no trouble. Location was perfect. Lots of amenities. All in all very nice
The condo was perfect, we had everything we needed. There were a few hiccups, nothing major and the property manager was on it instantly to have it resolved. I appreciated the quick response so we could continue with our holiday.
The beach is a REALLY short distance from the condo. Less than a 15 minute walk, so you don't have to fight with parking. I would definitely book there again!

I loved this unit not only for the decor but the beds were comfy, place was spacious, and had beach stuff including a boogy board. Pools were beautiful to relax at. In evening we would walk or take short drive to close beaches to watch sunset! AC units in main room and both bedrooms kept us cool. Definitely would stay here again!
We visited the property in a group of 6 with 3 young children. The property is dated but clean and fully furnished and adequately equipped (Asians, byo chopsticks if need :). AC was strong and beds were comfortable. We only used TV for streaming Netflix’s from our devices - worked well. There is a nice little patio with lots of chickens visiting us everyday. They will become abundance and aggressive if you feed them. The location is at the farther end of the community from the beach. It would be an uphill/downhill walk to the beach. The walk is not a big deal for able adults, but can be a problem for young children and elders. But we always took the rental suv everywhere we go, including down to the local beach. There are plenty of parking everywhere in Kihei — so no issue. There are two nice pools in the community, with one fairly close by the unit. The property comes with beach chairs, umbrella, bunch of other things, and boogy boards. These accessories were very useful to us. There are plenty of Weber bbq grills throughout the community— all clean and worked perfectly. Tip: There is a mango tree by one of nearby bbq grill. With the high wind in the afternoon everyday, ripe mangos dropped off the tree. We gather them every morning for fresh, tasty mangos. We never had such delicious mango ever! And we’ve been all over the world trying mangos everywhere :) Finally, the host is a lovely woman. She was incredibly helpful with our many questions.
We loved this cozy place! Super quiet and relaxing. Just what we needed. Everything we needed was here, except laundry soap. Other than that, we loved it.
Was a wonderful place to use as a home base to enjoy the island of Maui .
Dorothy’s property is in Maui Kamaole and it is a hidden gem of a resort. Even though the condo is not ocean front, the resort boasts amazing gardens, two beautiful pools and birds galore. Around the grounds there are many bbq’s and walking paths along with tennis courts. Located across the tree from the Kihei boat launch where we would go and watch the turtles in the bay before sunset. The condo is well equipped with beach chairs, cooler and beach towels along with some things for children to use but we were all adults staying so can’t comment on everything there. The units has AC in all rooms which we only turned on when we were home in the evening but it worked really well. The unit is on the main floor and had a patio with a beautiful garden. We had chickens, doves and grouse come up to our patio regularly which we loved. Our favourite pool which was just around the corner from us, was surrounded by plants and boasted a waterfall with a sit up ledge on one of the sides. It was never really busy and could always find a seat to be around the pool. We had an amazing two weeks staying here and I would stay there again. Thank you and much Aloha!
The location and the property were great, the pool area was sort of restrictive and pool is only 4' at the deepest. Overall the trip was great.
The property's location and amenities were fantastic, particularly the pool. However, there were several issues with the interior that detracted from the overall experience. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable, the TVs outdated with limited channel options, and the guestbook was poorly maintained. Additionally, the kitchen utensils and cookware were mismatched and in poor condition. Despite these shortcomings, the beauty of Maui still made for an enjoyable stay. Addressing these issues could greatly enhance the overall experience for future guests.
Very well equipped and comfortable condo. Perfect for our family of 4 adults.

I did feel the pool had alot of unfun rules though but that is not the hosts fault..
We will definitely stay there again. Needs a bit better cleaning (ceiling fans and doors) but other than that it was great!!
This was a great stay! The location is perfect. The communication was great and the place was very cleaned and well stocked with beach items. I would highly recommend and I would stay here again.

Pros:
- Nice and clean.
- Close to the beach.
- Parking right in front of the condo.
Cons:
- Second room is not a bedroom, very small, have to put the suitcases in the family room, doesn’t have a closet. Not convenient for couple because the bathroom is outside in the hallway.
- Not quiet for light sleepers, can hear the foot steps upstairs and the neighbor bathroom’s vent.
Beautiful place! This was perfect for us. We had plenty of space. Nice and quiet. We highly recommend staying here!
