Our host, Elise, was very gracious. This property is fairly unique on the west side of Oahu -- there are not a lot of high rises on this "mostly locals" side of the island. The view and beach access are stunning of course -- those are not AI images! And the place is equipped so very well, with all the beach equipment and kitchen supplies you could want. The condo itself has a bit of a DIY feel (e.g., no closets in the bedrooms), but really nothing to complain about, if you keep in mind the island-casual vibe. Be sure to do your research about Waianae to set your expectations -- it is not glamorous. And you'll definitely want a car. Although there is a great plaza just a few blocks away, the loose dogs and an unhoused (beach-living) folks may not be everyone's vibe. If you don't want to see how people actually live, Ko Olina, 20 minutes south may be a better bet for your trip. But we loved it here, once we got settled in. We were pleased by the 24-7 security and locked gates that made the resort area a safe and cozy paradise.
Best Hawaii vacation I've had! Right on the beach, beautiful sunrise and sunset. Amazingly clean condo, well stocked, all appliances worked great. Very convenient location close to amazing snorkeling and lots of good restaurants. Very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back!
Nice place on the west coast of O'ahu, the view from the Lani was awesome, we were spoiled in Maui and Kauai with our condo's, but don't go by these Wide Angle pictures for this one, although exactly what it looks like the rooms are very small.
This condo was perfect. The view is amazing and the beach cannot be beat. Everything you need is there. Nice beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, beach towels and boogie boards. Stay here..you will not be disappointed.
Absolutely loved our time here - we swam at the beach all day, the condo was perfectly situated to allow for maximum relaxation - a true gem!

Super secure, clean, well-appointed condo overlooking beach and pool. The owner provided everything we needed except food! Loved our time in the condo. Layout is spacious and bright. The only negative is that there is open ceiling space between the two bedrooms so if total privacy is an issue, this could be a deal breaker. The positives more than make up for this. Bathrooms are great and condo was sparkling clean. If you want to get away from the craziness of Waikiki and have your own private beach, then this is the place for you. It is about 20 minutes to all the amenities and restaurants you could want in Kapolei. 1 hour from Waikiki and 45 minutes from the airport or Pearl Harbour. We loved it and would stay again.
I stayed here with my mom and three boys (9, 11, 13) We had a great time swimming in the ocean as well as the pool. The proximity to the beach far outweighed the distance from Honolulu and the North Shore. We were fine with some driving to see the sights, but easy access to the beach was essential. The condo itself is just as wonderful as the pictures. With the doors open, your living room feels like it's outdoors, ocean breezes and crashing waves right outside. The view is spectacular. The condo itself has so many things you might want or need. We loved having access to all the beach gear, chairs, towels, etc. If you are looking for a swanky, pretentious resort, keep looking. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, low-key place to unwind, this is it!

We absolutely loved the condo at the Hawaiian Princess Resort. Elise has done a fabulous job with providing every thing we could ask for. My husband loved sitting on the lanai everyday with his coffee and watching the sea turtles and waves roll in. My 3 big kids, age 30, 24 and 18 all had plenty of room. We never needed the A/C because there was always a lovely breeze with the large screen doors and windows open. My older son loved sleeping on the Murphy bed in the living room. We ate many meals on the lanai and used the very clean gas grill near the lobby. Building staff was very helpful and kind. We used many limes right off of the tree in the parking lot. Many days there were only a handful of people on our private beach. We used all the beach chairs, beach towels, noodles, snorkeling gear, boogie boards and sunscreen provided by Elise, the owner. Thanks for a wonderful family vacation in your home, Elise, and we hope to return again. You made it so special!

Condo is so close to the ocean you feel like the ocean goes under your living room. Elise has a lot of nice amenities on hand like playing cards, beach chairs and reef-safe sunscreen that make the place easy.
