Wailua Hideaway is located on the ground floor of a custom 2-story Redwood home that was beautifully crafted and is meticulously cared for.

The bedroom is spacious and inviting with stream and mountain views and its own private lanai. With doors and windows on three sides, the room stays cool and comfortable even on the warmest tropical days. The King bed is comfortable and lavishly adorned.

The tile bathroom is well ventilated and includes a shower/tub, towels and paper products. The Wailua Hideaway features a private laundry room for your convenience as well as all linens, beach towels and laundry soap.

We had a great stay. Had everything we needed, plus some beach towels and cooler for us to use. It is a drive in to anywhere which got a little annoying but no fault of their own. Great property.

Had a WONDERFUL stay, great hosts. It is great having your own parking spot and not fighting others to find one. It is like a one bedroom apt, only better. Plenty of ROOM! VERY comfortable! Spacious kitchen with EVERYTHING you would need! The deck has a FANTASTIC view w/ river and trees. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Pros- unique natural views, stocked with all the basics which was very nice. Great to relax and unwind. Beautiful woodwork throughout in furniture and architecture. Wonderful bird watching. Easy check in! Changes I’d offer- list as a shared space. I initially booked thinking the entire property would be more private. The owners live upstairs so it was hard to completely relax. The cozy home is unique, but you can hear everything upstairs for example their wake up time of 6:30 am. :) Deep clean all the corners from cobwebs. Adjust the check out process. The 10 am check out felt early. There was a bit of a rushed and uncomfortable feeling as we planned our exit. Surprised the owner to stood outside while we packed the car. We left before check out.

Very quiet area, surrounded by tropical flowers, gracious hosts, completely equipped apartment with truly everything. This was the third visit for us, and just as wonderful as the earlier two. Highly recommend it.
