What an amazing home to stay in for a family and friend get together. The home is more beautiful thank the pictures. We used the pool and had meals together and the house was equipped with umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear. I absolutely wanted nothing more as this house had it all. Andy the host was very welcoming and the best communication came from this homeowner. I can’t wait to plan my return and it will definitely be at this property! Thank you Andy!
I can’t say enough good things about this house. It’s very high end with everything, from the house itself to towels to appliances. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Andy and his wife were so good to talk to if we had any questions or just to check in to see how our stay was going. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The house is setup to accommodate multiple families. We had a group of 9 with room to spare. We had 7 adults and 2 children. The big dining table made it nice for family dinners and cards before bed! The pool was a big hit with all of us. Everything you need for the pool is all there. Everything you need for a day at the beach was plentiful. Perfect stay!
My sister and I brought our families to this spectacular house for a vacation to celebrate a lot of graduations. The house is really fantastic-great views and layout for multiple families. There is nothing forgotten here....the host is so kind and thoughtful and left us lots of treats and flowers to kick off the vacation. Andy helped us with everything we asked him and we ended up spending more time at the house than we anticipated because it was so beautiful. We cooked almost all our dinners there in the kitched that was well stocked and enjoyed the sunset every night. They have huge water jugs for the guests which was amazing- we probably went through four in a week. We also had everything we needed to cook delicious meals. The pool is so nice since it is heated plus there is a spa as well. We also had all the coolers, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas and pool toys we needed! The house really made our vacation special and we are grateful for all the help Andy provided with our questions, etc...you will love it and we can't wait to come back!
This property was fantastic! The responsive, gracious owner shared suggestions of things to do. Quick walk to the beach, fantastic pool, and great views. We loved our stay.
Simply an amazing property. 8 of us stayed here. Plenty of space, so comfortable, very clean, great location, great pool and the communication with Andy was fantastic. 1st class all the way around. One of the best places we’ve stayed and would recommend to anyone.
My family and I rented this house for a week and it was the perfect place for us. The host, Andy, was great at communicating before, during and after our stay. He recommended restaurants and beaches, and contacted me after my niece left her journal when we left. The house itself is amazing. This was a special trip for my family as we don't take big vacations together often (last one was 10 years ago). Having a private pool and hot tub was great for the kids who were always wanting to be in the water and the grandparents who had troubles navigating the beaches. We cooked daily and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the outdoor areas were so relaxing. I can't recommend this house enough. I will definitely rent it again if/when I go back to Kauai. Lastly, the location was within a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to shops and restaurants. It comes with access to an athletic club that we used daily. We had evening flights back to the mainland and spent the time between checkout and heading to the airport at athletic club's pool where we could shower before our flights.
The trip was to celebrate the marriage of my Grandson. Our party consisted of 3 adult generations. This home was perfect. Everything you needed for a weekend at the beach was provided. The host Andy was most helpful. He even provided local treats and fresh flowers for our enjoyment. Best family wedding/vacation ever.
Beautiful property in a perfect location. By far, this VRBO was the most well appointed property I've stayed at in Hawaii, and we have come every year for 15 years. The little things were all thought of, from olive oil, salt and pepper, to beach chairs and umbrellas. Our group of four couples (eight adults) all had our private spaces but the community areas and pool were great as well. Just a short walk to Brenneke's beach or Shipwreck's at the Hyatt. Andy and Sarah were excellent communicators and easy to work with. We will always look to stay here when we return to Poipu.
Better than the pictures! Comfortably accommodated two families of 5. Best stocked kitchen of any VRBO we've stayed at. Great ocean views and super short walk to the beach. I'd stay here again no question.
This a beautiful home with all of the amenities and more than a family would need. Beds were comfy, the tech equipment worked, neighborhood is quiet and lovely, the pool and spa were just right. The Balks are obviously proud of their house and want it to be just right for themselves when they visit and for their guests.
Absolutely loved this house! Has everything you could possibly need and more! The private pool was perfect, sometimes made it hard to leave to go to the beach. The Poipu athletic club was amazing for my teens that like their daily work out. Beds were so comfy and the deck views amazing! We are already coming back in 2027 and can’t wait!
We had a fabulous time staying in this home. The house comes with everything you would need. It’s completely stocked with cooking essentials, beach and pool tools and toys. Every room was clean and had plenty of space. The living area/kitchen is large and perfect for dinners in. We all loved sitting by the pool because of how calm and peaceful the backyard felt. Andy was great about communicating prior to and during our trip, answering any questions we had. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

This home is even better than pictured. It’s incredibly spacious and the layout was perfect for our group with a primary bedroom on each floor. The pool and spa were used often! The kitchen was stocked with essentials. It was truly like staying in the home of someone we knew personally.Andy has set a new bar for me with VRBO hosts. Checkin and communication before arrival was easy and timely, and he made sure we were ok during the trip too. He was super accommodating.I hope my family can make it back to this home and island someday. It was an unforgettable trip.
We absolutely loved this house - my kids said it is their favorite of all the places that we have stayed!! Pros: Lots of room with spacious bedrooms and a bathroom for each (plenty of room for the 10 of us). Deck with great views of the ocean. And the pool (!!!) - beautiful setting and warm enough to swim even in January. The location of the house is ideal. It was a 5-10 min. walk to our favorite of all the beaches where we could ride the waves next to the sea turtles. We had a golf cart which was great for the little ones but the walk is easy. We did not want to go home and would love to return!!! Thank you!
Absolutely loved the property! Host Andy made sure our extended family (6 adults and 5 kids under 6) had the best Christmas ever. We absolutely loved the house, the pool, hot tub, beach equipment and everything else. No detail was overlooked from a Christmas tree to a stocked kitchen. We would highly recommend this property if you want a stress free vacation with a large group. Easy walk to beach and close to everything in Poipu. Being able to use the Poipu Beach Club was an added bonus. 5 stars all the way around!
The house was beautiful and amazingly well equipped. We could have traveled with just our bathing suits and we'd not have needed anything. The location perfect. Neighborhood is quiet and private. Property owner helpful and great to work with. We travel to the islands annually and it was the best of experiences. Aloha!!
We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house is beautiful and had every amenity we needed. We loved the pool, hot tub area and spent lots of time relaxing out there. This property is outstanding in every aspect. Clean. Ideal Location. Great home layout with good bedrooms with very comfortable beds with premium linend, 6 bathrooms.Very Very Well Furnished and Equipped (from the abundant spices and equipment in the kitchen, to a private pool and spa with ample towels, comfortable gathering spots with great seating, BBQ, Beach Supplies: boogie boards, surf boards, towels, beach chairs + a foldable wagon to haul all the stuff, etc etc). Laundry upstairs and down + laundry soaps. Ample paper products. And really the best host anyone would wish for. Perfect in EVERY way! All that resulitng in a great value. We will definately return. Near super beaches, hiking, good restaurants, yet quiet and peacefull. We easily found everything we needed for our family of 10 to relax, prepare meals, explore Kauai.... and were sad to have to go back to work at the end of this teriffic vacation.

Our family had a fabulous stay at Andy‘s place. We had three generations of our family visiting from mainland US and Germany and everyone enjoyed the entire property. We had plenty of bedrooms, and the AC units were a great addition. The pool and hot tub were also favorite features that we all enjoyed after our long days exploring the island. The Weber BBQ was in use almost every day and extra propane tanks were readily available. We will certainly plan to come back! Thanks for making this big anniversary a very special one! Mahalo!
This property was just perfect for our group of 9. It was spacious and so well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could possibly want and was a joy to cook in. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and beds were comfortable.
Location was great. We were able to walk to several good restaurants. The highlight was seeing turtles and a seal at Brenneckes beach just blocks from the house.
Andy, the owner was very responsive and answered any questions we had. We can’t think of anything else he could do to make our stay any better!
We had a group of six adults and all of us really enjoyed this home. The house and grounds are beautiful and exceptionally clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the pool and spa each evening after a long day of activities. The location was wonderful - we walked to Poipu beach almost every morning and it was also an easy walk to the Hyatt (Shipwreck Beach) and we could easily drive to different parts of the island for excursions and shopping. Andy was also one of the most attentive, responsive and accomodating hosts we have ever encountered. Best of all, this house has been furnished with everything you could ever hope to need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Beach towels, coolers,umbrellas and chairs for the beach, plus so many extras in the house itself. The kitchen was wonderful and well stocked and the spacious upstairs family room was a perfect place for gatherings or meals. Beds were comfortable and the tasteful island decor throughout really made this the perfect vacation home.
This was our 3rd year in a row coming to Kauai with my family and we have found our forever vacation spot in Andy’s home. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is fully stocked with anything you need and more. Crib/pack and plays for the littles, stroller, high chair, beach wagon, beach toys, I could go on and on. Andy was so great on quickly answering any questions we may have had during our trip. All the furniture is very nice and the place is unbelievable. We loved watching the sunsets off the deck at night and the quick .5 mile walk to the beach. We can’t wait to come back.

This house was above and beyond in so many ways. Location is fantastic - nestled in a quiet neighborhood between Poipu and Shipwreck Beaches, near great restaurants, and with lovely ocean and landscape views. The kids were obsessed with the pool, the hot tub was amazing under the stars. More than anything, this house was stocked with everything you could need. It made for such a relaxing, luxurious stay, because we didn’t need to spend so much time collecting the essentials. Andy was generous and kind with communication. We’re already talking about a trip back!
We could not have booked a more perfect place for our family vacation. The house, the pool, the garden, all were beautiful. There were so many amenities we were constantly amazed at the level of detail and thought that went into this home. It is fully equipped with everything a family would need for a beach holiday.
Our communication with Andy was fantastic, he was very responsive especially when our flights were delayed and we had to alter our stay. We can’t thank him enough for his kindness in accommodating us.
