    CANCELLATION POLICY UPDATE:

    1. COVID-19 Cancellation Policy: Assuming a guest is unable to travel due to a positive COVID Test taken within 72 hours of travel OR a government imposed/mandated travel ban, cancelations will be processed as follows:
    • REFUNDS: If a guest cancels their reservation and IPM is able to resell any of the guest’s reservation dates, IPM will issue a cash refund, upon receipt, for all dates that are resold.
    • CREDITS: Assuming a guest cancels their reservation within 60 days of arrival and choses to forgo a refund per the terms mentioned above, IPM will issue a credit on all monies paid based on the below terms and conditions:
    o Credits shall not expire
    o Your future reservation must be placed in the same Villa that was originally booked
    o Rate differences for future reservation dates may apply

    2. Non-COVID Related Cancelations: For cancelations unrelated to COVID, Island Property Management will attempt to rent the unit during the specified contract period. Assuming the Villa rents for an amount equal to, or greater than, the stipulated contract amount, all client funds will be returned upon receipt by Island Property Management. Assuming the Villa rents for an amount less than the stipulated contract amount, client will be issued payment of said lesser amount (as REFUND IN FULL) by Island Property Management. Assuming the unit fails to rent, NO REFUND will be granted. Although not guaranteed, assuming the guest cancels within 60 days of arrival, the property will typically re-rent for the canceled dates thereby allowing the guest to receive a full refund.

    3. Travel Insurance: Assuming you need a cancellation policy that offers refunds, we have priced our units so that you may purchase travel. The price of our Villas, together with the travel insurance policy, are still less expensive than 90% of our competitors. We price our Villas in this manner to provide options to our guests as most guests prefer to forgo insurance and utilize the existing Cancellation Policy + pay the lower price.

    4. Moving Dates: We can usually accommodate all guest date change requests that occur 90 days or more before arrival, with the movement of reservation dates to the following ...

    Arrival and check in were smooth and great…Property Manager could use some Cust. Serv. Experience…every question I emailed him, I was told to look into a book when I get into the unit …We arrived and my 27yo daughter had the bedroom with stained comforter and towels that were stained or look like someone wiped their makeup on. Prop, Manager received my phone call but had HIS WIFE speak to me about the cleaning lady coming to replace comforter and bring clean towels…When you pay for Wailea Villas, you expect clean, professional Mgmt team. I got a man who couldn’t be bothered and gave me one word answers thru email but I will say his wife was kind…Furniture in the unit is outdated and needs to be upgraded. Cleaning lady was a sweet woman who went above and beyond. Next time, I will find a unit not with the SAME property mgmt. company….funny someone mentioned “missing tiles in the private pool “ in a review. Here it is months or years later and the same tiles are still missing! Go figure~~~Hawaii and Maui are beautiful but I’d see look for a great unit and property mgmt company

    I have stayed at Wailea Beach Villas in the past and have loved it. I have not, however, stayed in this villa. This villa has been misrepresented in the listing (pictures are very old). I found the Villa to be poorly maintained and disgustingly dirty, for example, some appliances did not work, oven was filthy, and I found partially eaten pizza in a drawer, among many other issues. Communication with property manager went nowhere. The only reason it gets 2 stars and not 1 is because check-in is handled by another company and the resort itself is lovely. I have opened an official case complaint with VRBO.

    We loved this property. It was very spacious- easily accommodating 4 adults and 4 teens. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy (and I am picky about beds), and the process to book and check in was simple. We lived on the back patio and cooked tons of meals there. Initially I didn’t think we would really use the plunge pool but we really loved it - kids and adults alike. The grounds and pools were so lovely and quiet/peaceful. There isn’t a restaurant or bar on site (which some may not like when hanging at the pool or beach) but we packed coolers or just went to one of the nearby hotels. I’d definitely recommend this place and would happily book it again!
