The mayor and city council have conspired to put short term rentals out of business and hand the hotels a 100% monopoly on vacation accommodations. Our brand new villa features exotic muong wood cabinetry and doors throughout, limestone and ipe wood flooring, 10' ceilings, 6 flat screen TVs, air conditioning throughout the villa, high speed internet with wifi router and all-in-one fax, scanner and printer for those that are still working a little. 4 bedrooms with king size beds, and 2 queen sized sofa sleepers plus inflatable queen bed will sleep 12 guests in comfort. 3.5 baths with rain shower heads ensure no morning lines plus outdoor shower keeps sand and salt outside.

Kitchen features all the latest appliances including induction stove top, two sinks and huge Island for prepping, or hanging out. Flowing into the great room with Island style furniture, 75" flat screen TV with 500+ channels and pocket doors that open up completely to a 600 square foot covered lanai with lounging furniture, another sink & refrigerator and cooking prep area next to the barbecue. The centerpiece on the lanai is a spectacular monkeypod slab dining table that seats 12 guests. Just off the outdoor lanai is a spacious hot tub. Upstairs the Villa features a 500 square foot game room with Foosball table, air hockey table, workout equipment and a 50" flat screen TV.

Beautiful, safe and clean property. Comfortable beds, plenty of space inside and out. Quality appliances and all the nesessities for a comfortable stay. Short walk to the beach but be aware that you do have to cross a sometimes busy highway for access. The extra space and serenity of the surrounding horse ranch was just perfect for our group, yet close to Teds Bakery, foodtrucks, groceries and more. We were able to easily access all areas of the island within a 45-60 min drive. We would book again for sure!

All of my family enjoyed the North Shore Country Villa tremendously! There was plenty of room for everyone, and the great room and lanai were perfect for family games and meals. The game room was fun, and the bikes and beach equipment was very much appreciated. This property met all of our needs, and more! We would rate this house as a 5 / 5 star property, and will gladly stay here again. There is so much to do on Oahu, we will definitely be back again. Thanks, Capt. Ken, for your hospitality. The four bedrooms have comfortable beds, and each has direct access to a bathroom. Upstairs is a playroom with foosball and air hockey, and our two girls ages 10 and 15 loved sleeping, watching TV (which was not often, too much fun outside), and playing games in the upstairs playroom . One of the best features of the house is the outdoor lanae with large dining table dining, outdoor kitchen with sink, referigerator, and grill. Plenty of comfortable seating and lounging for 10 guests. We spent the majority of out time out there. It is a beautiful property, private, peaceful and green, with access to the beach across the road. KItchen is very well equipped, and is great for sharing the meal prep responsibilities without missing out on the fun. Will try and book again if we go back to Oahu. Great communication with owner and quick response to any questions we had.

Our stay on North Shore could not have been better. The owners of this beautiful home have thought of everything! They have all the beach equipment you could Need, the house is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Our first morning we noticed the coffee maker wasn’t working, so we reached out to the owners and before the end of day, we had a brand new one. They are so kind and you can tell they love their property and enjoy sharing it with others. The location was perfect and it was so quiet. We spent evenings BBQing and sitting out on the Lanai. The kids ran round catching geckos the whole time. All in all, it was everything we could have dreamed of!

Everything was super awesome. The house was clean and everything was labeled so it was easy to find what you needed without rummaging through all of the drawers and cabinets. Spacious, quiet, and very nicely built home. My one complaint is that the on site caretaker was not very friendly. He didn’t speak to us at all. Even in passing he just seemed to act as if we weren’t even there. I had to finally knock on his door and introduce myself to him. But he didn’t have much interest. I’m not sure of all of his duties. But it seamed he could have at least introduced himself and offered help if we ever needed anything. It made things a little awkward when we did see him. But overall it was excellent. The only way it could have been better is if there was no one living in a room right next to the home.

Our group of 8 adults had a most wonderful stay. The view from the back porch is breath-taking! The property is open and spacious giving a feeling of tranquility and peace. The kitchen is top notch with all the bells and whistles. Every drawer and cabinet is labeled and organized. We cooked everyday and grilled each evening with several cooks in the kitchen. It was accommodating to us all. The jacuzzi was hot and ready for use each day. All the bedrooms are inviting and spacious. The beds are so comfortable allowing for restful sleep after long days of touring the island. Manny, the on-site groundskeeper, was helpful with tips of which sites to see and places to go around the area. We all agreed we would love to come back to stay longer next time.
