    Unit 1-103 is on the ground floor of the highly desirable Building 1. So you will be safer with no need to reach the condo in an elevator! It features a large lanai, a remodeled kitchen, and two remodeled bathrooms. The kitchen has rich granite counter tops, coordinating cabinets, plus all stainless steel appliances including the refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. The bathrooms were also remodeled with upscale granite counter tops and under mount sinks. The master bathroom has a combination tub and shower where as the hall bathroom has a walk-in shower. The master bedroom features an island style king size bed, an overhead fan, and a window shutter. The mattress, box spring, and carpeting in the master bedroom were purchased new in 2022. There is also a combination safe in the bedroom to store your valuables while you are at the beach or pool.

    The large lanai overlooks a flat and open grassy area, the lush central garden, the newly rebuilt pond, and two spectacular lighted fountains. Condos at Kamaole Sands alternate with large and small lanais and this condo features the large one! There is also a partial view of the ocean from the lanai where you might sight a whale in season. The lanai is a perfect spot to enjoy all of your meals, relax and read a book or just rest after a busy day exploring Maui.

    There have been many other upgrades to the condominium for your enjoyment and comfort. Two Samsung flat screen TVs have been added to the living room and bedroom. There is a powerful air conditioner in the living room, which has been moved up on the wall for better circulation of cool air throughout the condo. In addition, there is ceramic floor tile everywhere except the bedroom. Also, a front loading washer and dryer were added as well as patio, sling back chairs for your comfort. The condominium has been tastefully decorated in island style and all the living room and dining room furniture were reupholstered in 2019. In general the condo is equipped with all the comforts of home to make your vacation an unforgettable experience.

    The condominium is just a short walk across the street to the Kamaole III beach where you can swim, read a book under the trees, or just sit and watch the whales in season or the sunset. Building 1 is situated so that there is no problem with either street noise or pool noise. It also features easy access to the swimming pool, two hot tubs, barbecue grills, and tennis courts. ...

    My family and I stayed in this unit for a month this summer. First, let me say, Sharon, the owner is extremely easy to work with, very communicative, and understanding. The unit itself is perfect for families with children, which we have two. There is a huge lawn area right outside the sliding door where they can run around and play with no worries. It is also located a very short distance from the grills and the pool. But the best part, you are a very short 2 minute walk right across the street from the beautiful Kamaole III beach. We walked there almost every day and were able to enjoy amazing sunsets. You can also sit right on the lanai and see them as well! The unit is fully stocked with all the kitchen supplies you need including spices and seasonings. There are three beach chairs, an umbrella, and snorkel gear ready to use on the lanai. We had an incredible time in Maui and in this unit. We will definitely be coming back and staying here again!

    Bldg 1 is a great location to the BBQ, pool and closest to the beach. It was well stocked with beach chairs/toys, lots of towels and one laundry detergent pack. We also had plenty of paper towels and trash bags for the entire stay.

    We've stayed in Kihei a number of times over the last handful of years, a couple times a year. The location of 1-103 is great. Nice split distance between going to the pool or the beach. The kitchen is well equipped with newer appliances. No spices, salt/pepper or things like that, so plan accordingly. The furniture was clean and comfortable. Bed was nice too. I had a tough time setting up the bedroom tv, but facilities helped me out with that. Would have been nice to have a beach umbrella, and I'm sure at some point there was one. It must have gone missing, so we rented one. Sharon is a great communicator and left me no doubt check in/out would be smooth, and it was. All in all, great condo in Kamaole Sands.

    Great location across the street from a park and good swimming beach.Property was well maintained and staff were friendly.Enjoyed sitting out on the lanai mornings and evenings and we hope to return again.

    Condo needs some owner attention. The furniture is dated and sparse, lighting is way too harsh, old carpeting in bedroom but biggest issue is the poorly stocked kitchen. No mixing or serving bowls, no decent glassware, no oven mitts, random cutlery. We had only one tea towel. The condo bedroom is also 3 feet away from the elevator and mail boxes so constant traffic right at the bedroom window.

    Loved our stay at Kamaole Sands. We loved the large lanai and this unit is close to the beach , pool and barbecues. Our children and grandchildren also stayed in different units so we had a wonderful family vacation. The grounds are beautiful.

    Have stayed at Kameole Sands previously and love the location. First time at Sharon's place and would stay here again! Has all the amenities needed for comfortable stay. Sharon was very responsive and very easy to communicate with. Would stay here again!

    The property is exceptional. The location is great, right across the street from the beach and walking distance to stores/restaurants. The location of this unit is NOT good. It is right beside the elevator for building #1 with the bedroom window less than 3 metres away. You hear people arriving at 1AM and departing as early as 4AM every day.

    Several beaches, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was a nice area to sit and relax in the afternoon evening. I loved the turtle talk that was offered Friday morning.
