Welcome to the Hana Bay View Cottage in the heart of Hana town right above Hana Bay. This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Cottage offers all the comforts of home while enjoying Hana and its natural surroundings.
The Cottage features a full kitchen with granite counter tops, cherry cabinets and an eat up bar for 3. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to create delicious meals while on your Hana getaway.
With 500 sf of living space it’s perfect for a quiet weekend for one or a romantic stay for two. Overhead fans, and air conditioning in the bedroom if needed, keep the cottage cool throughout the year.
A 4-person dining table and spacious covered deck with picnic table are perfect for an outdoor evening dinner with friends or simply enjoying the view and fresh air.
There is an additional outside shower for that tropical getaway feeling, and you have the convenience of your own washer/dryer.

*One item you might not have considered is the importance of travel insurance that covers a variety of situations, including, but not limited to, your rental expenses should you decide or need to cancel for reasons such as poor weather or leaving early for an emergency. In addition there are options for medical coverage during your trip. We urge all future guests to explore these available options.
Maximum of 2 guests, including children over the age of two.
Two night minimum stay, although we will book a one-night reservation if there is one night open between the reserved dates of other guests.
The Cottage is wifi equipped for your convenience, however, cell and wifi signal can be intermittent at times depending on your carrier.

What a great stay we had in Hana. Cottage was quiet, comfortable & had everything we needed. Location was excellent for accessing local farms (don’t miss out on all the fruits!) and gorgeous beaches. Can’t wait to return!

Booking issue: the host unfortunately double booked the property and canceled our stay hours before we arrived after we had landed and were already driving over. We were left with no other options for Hana at the same capacity, and had to pay 2x out of pocket for a large place nearby. We booked the property 2 days in advance and received a few confirmation emails which is why we were surprised about the cancellation.
I'm sure if you get the property it's very nice (which is why we picked it), and to the host's credit, they were very apologetic and friendly so the main problem was the double booking and how the VRBO system left a bad experience. My advice is to message the host directly at least 5 days in advance and have them confirm it's available before booking

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Hana cottage, it is relatively close to what Hana has to offer. We would stay there again if we ever come back to Hana.

I don't know why more people don't stay in Hana a couple of nights. We were so glad to have such a cute and comfortable place to stay while doing all the things on this side of the island. We were able to explore Waianapanapa and the east side of Haleakala at our leisure instead of having to rush to make it back to the west/south side before dark. This darling cottage was a perfect home base for us to do that.

We really enjoyed our stay in your cottage. Everything was clean, and very peaceful after a long day of driving. It’s always nice to spend an extra day exploring the beautiful Hana area!
