Has everything you need to .make your own meals, going out to eat very expensive. Overall very happy with Maui Sunset in general with pool and other activities available.
Liked the settting, with peek-a-boo views of ocean. Good for families and oldsters. Would bring my grandchildren to this site again.
Could use an upgrade in the furnishings and a better 2nd sleeping arrangement in open area. Upgade older pull out couch bed -- so last century.
Did not appreciate the high refundable fee for damages. Found stained carpeting when we arrived. Get rid of old carpeting for vinyl or other easily cleanable surface. Kehei area was active and we found things to do.
Clean, great location, beautiful view, easy process. Overall a great experience.
This condo has everything you need and the description is accurate in outlining anything you need to bring. We were happy the room had beach chairs to use. This was our second stay at Maui Sunset and will be back! When pricing lodging, you can’t beat Maui Sunset.
What a great complex and condo - from the manicured gardens and balcony ocean views to the beach, pool and tennis/pickleball courts right outside your back door - hard pressed to find a better place to experience Maui. The Condo provided a clean, comfortable base for us to either relax or to enjoy all that Kihei and Maui have to offer. The owner was very timely with communication and incredibly accomodating as we had to extend one extra day.
There are restaurants, bars, Shave Ice and grocery stores within an easy walk (all through lovely neighborhoods); and the main Kihei beaches are a couple minutes by car. We have been to Maui several times and highly recommend this Condo complex.
The Condo - bed was very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, living room furniture was comfortable. Balcony is a great place to eat meals and to just sit and look out across the gardens to the ocean. The complex staff take great pride in keeping the facility and gardens immaculate.
Loved the condo, It was very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting out on the patio in the mornings and the evenings, watching the and views of the ocean, and listening to all the bird's singing. We will definitely rent this condo again.
The property and location was great. The pool and hot tub were clean and we were able to get reclining chairs when we visited. There’s shuffle board, cricket and golf putting with everything you need available. There are at least 5 grills that are cleaned daily and used frequently by the guests. The balcony is very nice without direct sunlight, which I preferred. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and the appliances were all pretty new and functioning properly. The bathrooms definitely need updating and there is a mildew odor. I know people who live on Maui say humidity and moisture are a constant problem. The chair in the living room is not very comfortable and the coffee table is very heavy and difficult to move if you want to use the sleeper sofa. Check in was OK but we checked in after 5 so the security guard gave us our keys. We had to return to the office the following day in order to register our car which was kind of a hassle. All in all, enjoyed our time at Maui Sunset.
Great location with great ocean and sunset views
i enjoyed my time here. the condo was just as described. Darrick was helpful and i enjoyed the grounds at the maui sunset. lots of things to do when you have down time. would love to come back.
Our 1st time in Hawaii. We couldn't have asked for more. The condo wad perfect and Darrick was wonderful!
We loved our communication with host, the condo was well equipped with things you need for the house and the beach chairs were a bit for our beach days. There were even a couple body boards that we tested out and gifted a beach umbrella to the condo. The pool and amenities were abundant and the grounds were well taken care of it. We can’t wait to go back!
