Whether you’re traveling with a large family or group of friends, Hale Hapuna is the perfect choice. It offers the ideal setting with approximately 5,000 square feet to spread out. Extra spacious living areas offer plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Roomy, air conditioned bedroom suites offer the perfect end to a perfect island style day. The chef(s) in your group will greatly appreciate the well equipped kitchen. They may even want to venture out to one of our Farmer’s Markets for some fresh local produce to include in one of their tropical culinary creations. Enjoy the tropical breezes and fragrant scents from the multiple seating and dining areas on the expansive, wrap around lanai that offers panoramic ocean, mountain and coastline views.

Feel like you are on top of the world as this home is located at the highest point in Poipu on the top rim of an extinct crater that overlooks the Poipu Resort area. Although it may be difficult to leave this lovely home for more than hour, you are within walking distance to 3 of Kauai’s finest beaches: Shipwreck Beach to the East (best for experienced swimmers and surfers), Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach Park to the West.

4 bedroom main home bedrooms are located on the first floor of the two story home. Second floor of main home is kitchen, dining room, living room and large wrap around lanai on north west facing portion. Additional two bedrooms is located in the fully equipped 1,000 square foot guest cottage (Ohana unit as we say on Kauai), offering accommodations for an additional 4 guests. Located directly behind Hale Hapuna, this cottage is included in the 6 bedroom rate. AC is ONLY in bedrooms in the Main House, there is NO AC in the cottage. Please inquire for further details.

It is also possible to just rent the main 4 bedroom home! Please inquire for details and pricing.

Amenities include: 2 private outdoor showers, WiFi, BBQ, Washer & Dryer and Air Conditioning in the main home bedrooms only. No AC in the guest home.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental home was great. Everyone had room to spread out and relax. Surprised that the plates in the kitchen were not to be used in the microwave.Garden Island Rentals was non responsive to me, Bev Cook, the listed renter. We used my daughter's phone to book the reservation, so she received all the information. Three times I asked for it to be changed, and it never happened. Also asked for additional information about the house, and never received an answer. I was the paying hostess for this accommodation, my credit card was used, but could never get anyone to remove Karen Ray, and change to Bev Cook. Frustrating!It's a good thing a stepladder was available for access to the kitchen cabinets, most of us could not reach the 3rd and 4th shelves. All in all, it was a wonderful home and a restful stay. Would recommend this property to large familys/groups.

Plenty of space for all to gather for meals and relaxing. Convenient to nearby beaches with plenty of beach chairs, toys, etc. and even a wagon to tow them in. Hated to leave!

There were 12 of us staying in this spacious house! Two bedrooms in the carriage house and four bedrooms in the main house. The best part is: every bedroom has its own attached bathroom! The top floor is an open floor plan with huge seating areas and the most beautiful lanai! There’s a nice walking path down to Poipu Beach with turtles, monk seals and the best hot dog stand ever! It’s also really close to a couple beaches that are perfect for babies and toddlers. I had excellent text communication with the property managers, who were always very timely and helpful.

Came for a wedding and 15 of us stayed here. It was amazing. Everything they said it would be and more. For multiple families, it is perfect because every room has its own bathroom plus a bathroom upstairs for common area. View from the deck is mountains and the ocean. Location to Poipu beach was awesome!

My family absolutely loved staying at Hale Hapuna! It was centrally located, so that we could take a leisurely walk to Poipu Beach. The home was very spacious, and we appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Mostly, though, we loved taking in the view and island breezes from the second floor!

The house is very well outfitted and maintained, and the property management folks checked in with us regularly to make sure we had what we needed. They even texted with a gentle reminder about putting out the trash! Definitely want to stay here again!
