    Property just as pictured. Spotlessly clean. Great location. roof top pool area fantastic. Only criticism-unit could use a paint job.

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: January 2022 was my first time in Hawaii. My friend, Carol, found the unit we stayed at from Ali i. We were so impressed with Ali i that we decided to come back to same condominium building, Fairway Villa, but we rented a different unit, which was even better than the one we had in 2022. Before getting into the physical unit, I must say that the Ali i staff: Rita, Gabby, Rington and Michael, were exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. About the unit, the first thing we noticed was that it was very clean and had high end finishes, like the comfortable beds, ceiling fans, washer and dryer and couch. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. We were on a higher floor and saw more of the sun. Our lanai faced the mountains, the Ala Wai Canal and the golf course. We liked that again our location was only a 10 minute walk to the beach. We were about 2 blocks from a main street, Kuhio, where we had access to shopping, restaurants, coffee and convenience shops. The 24 hour Fairway Villa staff was very courteous and helpful. We would definitely recommend Ali i and the unit 1101 at Fairway Villa to those who want to be where the action is in Waikiki.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros:Mike from the property management company was excellent. He (and owners) quickly addressed a few concerns we had at the beginning of our stay. Full sized frig, stove and dishwasher made it easy to live in Waikiki for a month. Availability of washer and dryer was a huge plus. Very nice pool and deck with BBQs and beautiful views. Security on at all times. All were very polite and helpful.Cons: The fire department was called due to elevator issues, ironically, the day we arrived and the day we left. We were scrambling to make it to our shuttle to the airport due to the lost time waiting for the elevator to be fixed, but we chose to find humor in it all. ;)The water and electricity are routinely turned off for maintenance. If you see the posted announcement, one can make it work, but it does require extra planning.The condo is clean and nicely maintained. The elevators and hallway to get to the condo need a serious cleaning.This condo is a better fit for 4 rather than 6, unless 2 of the 6 are children. Would we recommend this condo?...absolutely...part of the fun of Hawaii is relaxing, getting outside, enjoying the beaches and going with the flow. For us, time spent indoors was minimal, so this condo was a good fit for us.

Reviewer Comments: at first I thought it was smaller than depicted in the photos however having stayed in Waikiki before I realized it was on par with all the other places ie comfortable but dated. Once we were settled in the place grows on you and you realize it is right for the area. Location is perfect and amenities are as expected no more but no less. I would rate it at a very neutral 5 out of 10 and yes I would stay there again.

    Nice apartment in a nice neighborhood near Waikiki. The apartment is very nice and clean just like in the photos. It’s only two blocks from Waikiki Beach in the big shopping centers which is very convenient for tourists like us. There are tons of restaurants around us. The management is very nice and helpful. Thank you for giving us a new set of kitchenware to cook our meals. The swimming pool on the top is very nice area and super relaxing too, it’s very spacious and can accommodate everybody although they are only a few people each time I go there. It’s an ideal place to sunbathe or relax in the serenity and the view of Waikiki & the mountains around. The apartment has AC in every room which is a big plus since it’s hot in August . This is a good place and I will refer to friends and families.
