It was very nice 3 bedroom home in a gated community.It is very close to the Walmart area and an easy drive from the airport. We would stay here again.

This is a wondefully comfortable house with everything you might need. It is not downtown, which is to our liking, but has an expansive ocean view! We loved that it has seating for 6 since it sleeps 6 and even beach chairs and a cooler for use! Host is very responsive to requests and even met us stay a little longer on check out day! Would 100% recomend this place and stay here again if we come back to HI!
Such a wonderful place to be for island adventures. So close to the airport, close to the manta ray adventures and pickup for our Mauna Kea sunset adventure. The neighborhood was so quiet and the view was so beautiful. The layout was perfect for separating our family groups (us and our adult children). Our only regret was that we did not have more time to spend there.
If you are looking for stunning views, in a safe, secure gated park-like setting, w/upscale neighborhood w/ helpful & friendly neighbors, with awesome homeowners to deal with, whom I found to be helpful, informative, prompt to respond & accommodating, (yet respect ur privacy), w/a location that’s super close to everything u could need, (I.e. most venues, dining of all types, shopping, even post office, Walmart, Lowe’s, etc). , then it doesn’t get better than this & bonus, it’s a great value too. The home is super clean, has anything anyone could want for, the owners have everything well stocked & thought out! I can’t rate it any higher, or I would! I was thrilled when my other plans fell through (I had originally booked 3 days s on Hilo side), & I was able to extend my stay in this spacious beautiful home.
This was a perfect location for my family. The house isn’t far from Ali’i drive, beaches, and the major stores. The evening sunset was wonderful! The host was very responsive and friendly. A great stay overall!
We enjoyed our visit in Kona with our family. The couple of small issues were handled by the owners immediately, and we were very grateful for their speedy response. They went above and beyond by sending us a gift for NYE during our stay, which was lovely! Mahalo!
We had a wonderful stay. This house is located in a gated community, which is very quiet. The house was well stocked with plenty of towels and bedding. Josephine was very responsive to any of my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend this home for any families looking to stay in the Kona area. Very close to downtown Kona and a great central location.
We were here to have a relaxing time and see the sites/beaches/restaurants/hikes/parks - that we did. However, the house to us was not comfy. The couches were made up of a frame with particle board piece laying on top and cushion on top - very uncomfortable! This was the case for Both inside and outside furniture. Beds were very hard and not comfy. Pillows were ok. The only comfy place was out on the lanai, sitting on the tickets. E writhing else was clean - although the tiny single person shower in the massive master bath had us shaking our head as it was very claustrophobic. Lots of condiments and supplies along with very clean home was enjoyed by all.
My coworkers and I had an event and we stayed with Josephine! It was a beautiful house and she was a great host!
We stayed 3 nights. I really liked the neighborhood, very quiet, great views. This property is very roomy, nice layout. I loved the lanai. The kitchen is well appointed and well stocked with staples, which is nice. The furnishings are on the cheaper side. The patio couch is incredibly uncomfortable. Honestly just needs new cushions. Kitchen is a little beat up but nothing terrible.
The best part is the location. It’s a short drive to Alii drive and downtown Kona but it is so nice to be out of the fray. Safeway is close, which is convenient. Good base for trip to Kona.
