The place was perfect for us. On the east side of Oahu with beaches, sightseeing but without the traffic. We had lived in a moterhome for a couple of years so we felt at home with the small kitchen.
A couple of things you should be aware, there is a step over to get into the bathroom and there is no sidewalk from the driveway to the door, so if someone has mobility issues, keep that in mind. Also the driveway where you park is small, so better to get a midsize or smaller rental card. We had a full size and it was a bit tight.
Overall we loved the place and appreciate Vic and Karla as hosts.

The walk to beach was A++++++. Grab a chair and towel and less than 5 minute walk to a very beautiful beach.

Very cozy and comfortable. Nice private patio. Especially appreciated the beach towels, umbrella and boogie boards. The small studio kitchen was well supplied. Great location for a beautiful beach, 5 minutes walk

We particularly enjoyed the location - close to Waimanalo Beach and convenient to explore the rest of the island - and the little outside patio. Communication was easy and efficient and check-in with the host was a good way to kick-off our stay. Recommended!

This was a nice clean little place. We just needed a place to sleep, shower, change clothes at a low cost. We eat out while on vacation so all we needed was a small fridge and a coffee maker. We didn’t spend much time at the beach but when we did go it was beautiful. We didn’t want to be on the busy side of Oahu so this place was great. Vic greeted us and got us checked in and checked to see if we needed anything. I will be saving Vic’s contact information in case we return to Oahu.

Had a wonderful few days in Oahu staying In Waimanalo. It was easy to communicate with Vic, who personally met us when we arrived and gave us a few local recommendations. A quiet, swimmable beach was steps away that had plenty of shade to relax out of the sun. We also enjoyed walking up and down the long beach to enjoy the beautiful views in all directions. The unit is in a quiet residential area with easy access to a local grocery market, gas, McDonald’s and several local eateries. We spent most of our time enjoying the sites around the island, hiking and exploring and found it an easy drive to most of the things we wanted to do other than the north shore. It was a great location for us since we wanted to be away from the crowds and traffic around Waikiki and Honolulu. The unit is small, but very cozy with the basic necessities. We enjoyed eating on the private patio and made use of the beach chairs and beach towels provided. There were a lot of other extras in the unit that we didn’t need but was nice to have available if needed.
