The deadbolt could not be locked from the inside. We felt unsafe, but took the chance since the storm door did lock. Also, we were forced to check out (personal circumstances) and couldn’t turn the key in because the office was closed. This was in the daytime when office hours are open.
there are lots of things that need improvement in the condo, I gave the property management a copy of things that need fixing or improvements. I will not rent condo again.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. With the lanai door and the entryway doors opened there was a lovely cross breeze. The sunset views are stunning and we sat out on the lanai often. We often watched the people cooking their dinners by the pool and enjoyed that. The property is very close to the beach and we could walk to shopping and restaurants nearby. There is a fantastic ice cream shop that we often walked to. The condo itself has a number of beautiful paintings and photos on the walls and the TV stand is loaded with books. If we ever come to Maui again, we would definitely check to see availability and happily stay here again. We stayed here for two weeks and it felt like home.
We have stayed at Kihei Akahi before, but the view from this unit was straight on to the ocean. Fabulous views from the balcony and the living room / kitchen. The hard surface flooring was ideal. Well-equipped unit. Very prompt response from property manager for a minor issue. As always, the grounds, pool and BBQ are well maintained.
Great location, wonderful ocean view from the lanai, pool and BBQ area was cleaned dailey. The grounds were beautiful with easy parking.
Plenty of beach toys, only the straps on the chairs were broken. Appliances could use an upgrade.
Overall we were happy with our stay.
Great well equipped property. Kitchen has most items needed, including a rice cooker. Coolers, beach chairs, sporting equipment provided in unit. Grounds are immaculately maintained. BBQ grills are cleaned so they look like new every day, pools also. Close to the beach.

The kitchen counter edges need refurbishing. The fridge needs to be replaced or, at least, the doors need to be replaced or painted with appliance paint. We couldn’t figure out the DVD player and there aren’t any streaming services. The bathtub has a “stain” that needs attention. The lanai shade broke, but was repaired quickly. The powder area sink drowned slowly but was, also, attended to. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The condo itself just wasn’t particularly “updated” compared to other condos we’ve been in.

Amazing spot. Very clean and confortable. Close to the beach. Very nice and calm pools. Condo very well equipped. Employees at the office very friendly. We will come back and recommand this place to our friends.

The property was clean, comfortable, and easy to check in to. Its proximity to the beach and to the hub of downtown Kihei makes it very convenient. Just remember to pick up your parking pass from the front desk to avoid having to deal with any issues with security.
Like the location and condo fit our needs
We really enjoyed our time here. Excellent location with the ability to walk quickly to Kam 2 and 3 beaches. Loved the balcony view and sunsets. We cook all of our meals due to allergies and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. Great value for the location. Thank you.
Great location with great views. After the sofa bed was replaced a week into the trip made a world of difference. Lots of extras provided by the property (beach chairs, toys, towels) lots of our kitchen items, everything that you could ever want was available
The pool, the gardens, the balcony, and access to beach was terrific. Inside, the unit needs attention. Felt like a storage repository with multiple brooms, mops, coffee makers, cables, hand tools, power tools, paint, wood stain, ant & spider traps/poisons, etc. etc. All stuffed and stored in various closets and cupboards.

Day 1 difficulty getting into unit and returning box on door. Toilet was broken.
Day 2 washing machine had molded detergent in the tray.
Day3 dishwasher was not running properly
Day4 the chain to raise and lower shade broke.
Fortunately my husband was successful in fixing all of the problems but a plumber was still needed for the intake valve.
The maintenance on build D was horrible. Weeds everywhere and so filthy. Pool and bbq were clean yet the back bldg D was left without the same curb appeal. The staff on the property for maintenance were wonderful! So friendly and could visit briefly. We looked forward to seeing them daily!

Property was fantastic and it was so easy to get in contact with the owners for anything we needed via phone.
The condo was very clean, and had a closet full of beach stuff, such as boogie boards, pool noodles, all snorkel equipment, and beach chairs (which we used on several beaches, the road to Hana, and Haleakala!) the kitchen is very well equipped with cooking stuff and the view from the balcony was amazing. I will say that the couch was not comfortable and there were several cockroach’s seen in the kitchen and bathroom.
while the condo itself is dated, its clean and functional - but the VIEW is amazing and the location is superb. Its across the street from Kam2 beach and several good restaurants are within easy walking distance. So many We didn’t get to try them all - we absolutely loved the location and hope to return next year.
We had a great stay! The host had everything well stocked (kitchen supplies, things for the beach, etc) which really enhanced our time in Maui. The location is amazing - every morning we had breakfast out on the lanai overlooking the ocean! Host was easy to communicate with and everything looked like it did on the website. Just be careful to check in with the front desk when you get here - we got in late and by the next morning we had a warning on our car windshield, haha.
I expected a clean place when I arrived but it was disappointing having to do several hours of laundry when I got there. Check in sucked too. AC is cool but the bedroom is far in the back. Everything else was nice.
Condo was nice and centrally located in Kihei. Staff and residents we met were very nice. Short walk to Kam II, which is a really cool beach to chill out, swim and snorkel. Makena, Wailia and Ahihi (marine reserve) is only a ten minute drive south. The condo even had several boogie boards, beach umbrella, chairs and a cooler which made for a great time on the beach. Well, time to go… spending another 5 days up in Liahaina. Mahalo.
