Our family had a wonderful stay at the rainbow inn.
We stayed at Rainbow inn as a 3-day extension to a cruise of the islands. Everything people say about the Inn and hosts is 100% correct. Everything you need is there including a start to some breakfast items, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.! Vicky & Grant go above and beyond the norm for VRBO hosts. The views of the hillside, gorge, and harbor are breathtaking. They maintain their own grounds and the flowering shrubs and views are a welcome sight to a long day! I've already recommended this stay to two other families! Thanks for a great short stay!
House was amazing very clean and in a beautiful location. Vicky and Grant were wonderful hosts and very helpful.
We stayed in a little paradise, the views are amazing and we felt at home. The pool, property and the house was awesome. Vicki was very friendly and a great property owner. We will definitely stay here again, thank you vicki.
I’ve been wanting to stay here for years and now I have and the pictures don’t do it justice! The views are absolutely amazing. Loved having the pool right there! Loved our chats with Vicky and Dave! I can’t wait for our next stay! Thank you for our mangos… totally saved us from having to hit the swap meet!
We really enjoyed staying at the Rainbow Inn. Vicky and Grant have thought of everything you could need, including breakfast foods in the fridge upon arrival. The property and views are incredible! It was great to be able to swim in the pool after a day of sightseeing. Everything was communicated in advance and Vicky was so easy to work with. I would definitely recommend staying here!
The Rainbow Inn was the perfect place to bring our family of four. Not only was it comfortable, had everything we needed, but it also had amazing views of Pearl Harbor!
Beautiful home, close enough to Pearl Harbor and Waikiki to visit all the attractions but far enough away to feel Zen in their lovely salt water pool. Vicky was a gracious host, making sure we had everything we needed and even shared some delicious homemade jam. Don't know when next we'll be in Oahu, but hope this wonderful place will be available.

The Rainbow Inn was perfect for our family of four.We chose the Aiea area because we knew, from a prior trip to Oahu, that the neighborhood is a perfect base for exploring the entire Island. The reviews and the photos of the property made our decision easy, and we had high hopes for our stay.Vicky and Grant and their little oasis on the edge of the valley overlooking Pear Harbor outperformed all of our expectations!Our plane arrived 9 hours late from Seattle. We kept Vicky updated on our progress and she was outside waiting to give us a quick tour before we rushed to shower, eat the thoughtfully provided and much needed breakfast, and head to our USS Arizona Memorial reservation. Being greeted by a smiling and sympathetic host, after what turned into a 14-hour layover in Seatle, was just what we needed, and we are so grateful!The lower level of the Inn, for guests, is very private and so much larger than we expected! We ate breakfasts and dinners there daily and spent most of our days out and about. Coming "home" to take a dip in the pool and relax poolside was icing on the cake.Vicky and Grant were friendly and welcoming and there to help, if needed.We would absolutely stay at the Rainbow Inn again. Thank you to Vicky and Grant for sharing their little slice of heaven on Oahu.

We had a fantastic day at the Rainbow Inn! The location is wonderful and there is always a beautiful breeze. We very much enjoyed the pool and of course the view! The rooms were very comfortable and we had every amenity we could ever need or want. The homeowner, Vicky, is lovely and we look forward to staying with her again in the future. This will be our go to location when visiting Oahu!

Had a great time staying at the Rainbow Inn with Vicky and Grant. They were phenomenal hosts and took care of us with whatever we needed. The views from their property are simply incredible and make the whole stay worth it for this reason alone. You have your own private pool, which was great for my group of adults but would be perfect for kids as well. While on Oahu my family used the bus system to get everywhere and didn’t have issues from this location. Occasionally Vicky offered us a ride to help us get where we were going faster, which was very much appreciated. Overall, had an amazing time and there is no where else I would want to stay if I returned to Oahu!
This stay was fantastic! The saltwater pool was amazing, the beds were super comfortable, and it was such a refreshing touch to have breakfast waiting in the fridge upon arrival. The layout worked perfectly for our family—our teenager slept on the sofa bed, my mom took the queen bed since it’s more out in the open, and my husband, toddler, and I stayed in the “kids room.” The only minor downside was that this back room with the twin beds could get a bit warm—adding an AC unit would make it perfect, though the two extra fans definitely helped.The location was super central—we visited Kualoa Ranch, Waikiki, Lanikai, and more, and never once regretted where we stayed. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. The bathroom was nice and spacious, and having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus. We also really appreciated the extra amenities like boogie boards, camp chairs, and beach towels. All in all, a wonderful and memorable place to stay, and we’d return in a heartbeat if we visit Oahu again!
The home was very clean and in a great location to get to everything on the island. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone!
Our stay was most excellent! Vicky and Grant welcomed us - and our many family members that live on the island, graciously allowing us to have a cousin sleepover one night and a family bbq on our last day. It was a wonderful visit. Thank you!
We loved the hosts and location. The view was amazing and we had all main necessities to make our trip convenient. Definitely recommend!
Nice location with an excellent view. Would stay here again. Y would recommend having a rental car to get around Oahu if you stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rainbow Inn and our chats with Vicky and Grant! Very comfortable. A lovely property and a great neighborhood for walking. Vicky's shortbread was a special treat on Thanksgiving. Yum! Would definitely return!

20 years ago we stayed in Oahu. We came back for a couple days with our kids to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We could not have asked for a more perfect and beautiful place to stay. The view, the pool, the house. All of it gorgeous🌺

We were so relaxed at the Rainbow Inn. The view is just gorgeous, all needs met from extra towels, paper goods etc. There was also plenty of room and a peaceful patio to drink our morning coffee at. Vicky is wonderful and friendly - we did not want to leave!
We had a wonderful time at the Rainbow Inn! It was so nice to have a quiet place to relax at the end of our day, away from the crowds and noise of the city. I would highly recommend this place to visitors. And the views are spectacular! House was clean and had all the comforts of home.

Close to everything, views for days, quiet, clean…Vicky and Grant were the best. The accommodations were incredible and included everything we needed for our vacation. This included breakfast items, towels, beach chairs, extra linens…it was all there. We had the time of our lives and their place was a big part of that!! We will definitely be back!!! Mahola!!
