This custom designed Hawaiian plantation style cottage is located just off the Brennecke's beach side of Poipu Beach Park, 100 steps to the beach!
This spacious house was designed and built in 2013 to be the perfect vacation retreat - its plantation style allows it to blend in with the historic neighborhood, while offering every modern luxury. Outside is a barbeque grilling area, a garden shower accessible from either the master bath or from outside, and under the Plumeria Tree is a landscaped 5 person hot springs style hot tub. Enjoy the 2 master, air conditioned, suites with plush king beds, flat screen TVs, pedestal tub, and outdoor garden shower, and full size front load washer and dryer. The open plan great room opens up to the large lanai with 22 feet of 8' high folding doors, and the 9 1/2 foot high walls, vaulted ceilings, large double hung windows, and ceiling fans keep the place breezy and cool. Both bedrooms are air conditioned to keep you comfortable all night long. The kitchen is equipped with a full sized french door refrigerator, whisper quiet dishwasher, gas range, walk-in pantry, granite counters, open shelving, and fully stocked. The sound system through out the living area as well as the lanai is set up for surround sound TV watching, listening to Pandora, or you can wirelessly listen to your own music collection from your smartphone. We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed home located in the heart of Poipu. Easy walk to beach and several restaurants.
The home is spacious and clean. Brent, the owner, was terrific to deal with and he provided many helpful tips on things to do as well as valuable restaurant recommendations. The ability to use the nearby Athletic Club was a real plus, especially on our last day in Kauai. We can’t wait to return.

What a wonderful place to stay. So quiet and very to the beach.
Well furnished. Amenities were fantastic. Everything you need is thew. Felt like home.
We had a little hiccup but the owners were so quick to rectify it.

Well designed, beautiful cottage with great amenities. Enjoy the outdoor shower after walking back from the beach and relaxing on the comfortable lanai. A great place to stay!

Two couples loved the location for walks, snorkeling, wildlife viewing. All the amenities of home are a very short walk to the beach. Hosts provided a thorough introduction to the house and the neighborhood, as well as on point recommendations for excursions.

We come to Kauai annually but this was our first time on the south end of the island. Highly recommend Poipu for young families and this listing! So many gems at this beautiful property. To list a few: the outdoor shower was to die,
indoor/outdoor floor plan was perfect for our toddler to run in and out of while still being able to watch him and make dinner, easy walk to the beach allowed us to go there a few times a day without a big fuss. The house is fully stocked with all that you need included a beach cart, umbrella, chairs and sand toys we used daily. Hosts were very easy and friendly to communicate with. Can’t wait to return.

The location of this lovely cottage is prime! A very short walk (1/2 a block) to the best boogie boarding beach Brenneckes and just a skip across the park to poipu beach and turtles galore. We counted 30 one evening. The cottage itself is lush. We all loved the outdoor shower, perfection. And we loved that it came with all the beach goodies you need including a wagon to cart it all around in! The two sets of fold open doors give you a real indoor/outdoor living feeling and let in the nice ocean breezes. We opted for AC the first night but ultimately found it more enjoyable leaving the house open at night. It’s really quite comfy! Our kids loved the place as well. We would not hesitate to return to this little slice of paradise! Thanks Brent..the banana’s were the best!!
