Perfect and so relaxing for our honeymoon. This condo was very well stocked and the views were incredible.
The property was as advertised, with beautiful views and the amenities we needed. Washer-dryer are in the building but plan ahead if you want to use them because it's not open 24 hours. The beaches within walking distance were OK. Better beaches are within short driving distance and a mall with lots of places to eat is within a 15 minute walk
The location of the condo was absolutely perfect! You really can’t beat it!That said, the condo itself didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the photos may make it look more polished, the reality was a bit different. The living room couch was worn and uncomfortable, the patio furniture wasn’t very comfortable-definitely not the cozy furniture I was hoping for. One of the bedrooms had a headboard, but every time you moved the headboard would hit the wall, which made it less-than-ideal sleep situation. I’m pretty sure I forgot to move the pillows that I placed behind the headboard. There was noticeable dust on the curtain just above my head in one of the bedrooms. A few windows don’t have screens. There areas around the front door and stove was pretty dirty, some of the shutters were broken, there were area that could use a cleaning.I would recommend this place for the location, but just be aware that it’s not as nice as the photos might suggest.
Pros:Great communication from the property manager — quick to respond and very helpful throughout the reservation and stay.Fantastic location with a beautiful ocean view right from the property.Convenient elevator access to the floor made coming and going easy.Excellent air conditioning — the two mini-split units provided true refrigerated air and kept the space comfortable throughout our stay.Comfortable beds made for restful nights.Cons:Housekeeping needs improvement — surfaces could have been cleaner, and more attention to detail would go a long way.Living area furniture is worn — one kitchen chair was held together with zip ties, and a living room chair back kept pulling out and needs repair.Washer/Dryer situation was misleading — the listing implies an in-unit washer/dryer, but it’s a shared machine on the floor, which unfortunately was out of service during our entire 7-day stay.Bedding was dated — the sheets were clean but worn, with visible bleached spots on the bottom sheet.Summary:We enjoyed our time overall — the ocean view and AC were highlights — but a few maintenance and housekeeping upgrades would make this unit truly shine.
You really can't beat the view from the corner windows. Whenever we were home, we were out on the deck watching the surfers and looking for turtles. The deck is nicely protected from the afternoon sun so we weren't getting scorched. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-stocked. We will definitely stay here again.

The view from the balcony was magical, where we had breakfast each day and we watched the sunset at the end of the day. At 6 a.m. the surfers were starting the day. Very quiet and relaxing the entire week. The location was near retail shops and restraurants (Beach House was great last night dinner place). All kitchen utensils were there! We were so appreciative not to have to make a extra trip to the store. My last visit with a young son was over 20 years ago and now he is 29 years old with a girlfriend. We enjoyed every moment immensely. We flipped a coin for the "front room" and I won! I wanted my son to have the front room but he insisted I take it, so we tossesd a coin to be fair. Owners were very helpful and kind through the entire process. I had no prior experience with vrbo so I was dependent on the integrity of the system. After sundown, it is pitch black in some areas outside so we brought a flashlight.We left a new bottle of body wash and vegetable oil for the next guest as a courtesy since we used what was there. There were even tupperware and zip lock bags to help us with leftover storage. Opening the livingroom doors to the ocean each morning was breathtaking and so soothing. We had a little issue getting used to the unlocking and locking of the front door but my son caught on quickly. The kitchen sink turn off nozzle had a trick to getting it to stop dripping. There was a little sand left by the previous visitors but that can't be helped...Wonderful memories.
The condo has amazing views. We got to see so many marine animals. We saw dolphins, whales, seals, turtles-all from the lanai. We were able to drive to any of our destinations within an hour and traffic was not really that bad. The sunsets from our window were amazing.
All amenities were on point and as advertised. We felt like this was an excellent location and a reasonable value.
The location of the condo is simply amazing. Watching from the comfort of our deck, the whales, dolphins, turtles and P20 the monk seal are experiences of a lifetime. The icing on the cake was meeting Walt and Joy. They truly are the most gracious hosts. Thank you for everything and we will see you again in 2 years.

We loved our stay at your beautiful condo. I loved all of the turtle decor and the well stocked kitchen. Loved the view and the walls of windows. We spent hours each day sitting and watching the turtles in the ocean! The location was perfect. Thank you and we hopeto return.

The condo is called Surf Song and that is spot on. It is steps from the ocean with floor to ceiling windows. We kept the doors and windows open every day to enjoy the music of the sea.
We had a great time! The condo is so nice and clean. There were plenty of spices for cooking. We enjoyed the sunset from the balcony and short walk down to the beach. I had my own goggles/snorkel but my spouse used the snorkel set provided and it worked out wonderfully. We got the opportunity to snorkel with 4 sea turtles right off the beach! It was amazing. Be sure to keep the shades down because it gets difficult for the AC to keep up otherwise. We highly recommend this condo and would stay there again if given the opportunity.
This was a very peaceful place, great ocean views, close to shops and restaurants, Condo was well equipped with beach supplies making it easy to enjoy the many locations on the island. The Sheraton close by had a wonderful luau. The A/C units helped as it was above average temps, so we were very comfortable during the day. The owners responded quickly to our questions. The outdoor grill was great for cooking local seafood from Koloa Seafood Market. A very enjoyable stay and will put on list to return to this ocean paradise.
The two bedrooms made it easy to spread out not feeling cramped. The kitchen was well equipped, everything worked. The condo was clean and had an amazing view from every living area. The location was perfect for dining and snorkeling. We plan to return. Thanks again! L and J

This is amazing condo with great host, awesome views and great location. Host Walt & Joy are great people. Communication with them was breeze and check-in process was very easy. Location of the condo is great and it has fascinating views of the ocean all around. Amenities are great and they have provided beach related stuff in the closet and kitchen with all possible utensils.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely come back here again.

This was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Our kids comfortably shared the second king size bed and loved having their own bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including spices and oil.
The view is absolutely incredible. Talented surfers enjoy the waves right in front of the patio and turtles come up to the rocks. Snorkelers gather within steps of the condo and the beach house restaurant next door is very delicious. We even got to enjoy 2 weddings in the restaurant’s outdoor space and an amazing craft fair with quality stuff! We also walked to the nearby shops and golf course. We have a great visit to Poipu.
My family of four, including 2 teenage boys, had an amazing time at this condo. The host is very responsive and the condo was clean, roomy and fully stocked with all kitchen amenities and beach gear. The view from the condo is breathtaking and the location is perfect. We were even able to be front and center to a local booogie board competition! So fun! We will definitely be back! Thank you to our hosts!
Enjoyed the ocean front views and watching surfers daily. Liked that it provided all kitchenware to cook meals and necessary beach items. Beds were comfortable.
We truely enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Watching turtles, surfers and listening to the crashing waves was amazing. Adding in the breathtaking sunrise and sunsets was more than we could have asked for. Opening the front door and letting the breeze come through was great during the day. The Beach House had a party one night but the noise wasn’t too bad. Wish the tent wasn’t in the view of the west window, wasn’t a game changer. Great snorkeling at Lawai and Poipu (Boss Frogs located in the same building as Beach House). Food and shopping within walking distance if needed. Plenty of cooking oil’s and spices, along with other essential’s stocked. See what’s there before purchasing a bunch of groceries. Coolers and beach umbrella provided in closet worked great. The views from the condo were spectacular! The afternoons were the best times to watch the turtles in the waves. Surfers start early and go all day. It was also fun to go walk by the rocks at low tide to see crabs. There was a beach with in short walking distance but it wasn’t very big. We needed to drive to better beaches. Locking the door was tricky but Walt was very responsive . They do have nice beach hairs and umbrella available to use. I would enjoy sting again!!
Amazing views and location!
Can’t say enough positive things about this property! The room was great with amazing views. We sat on the balcony and watched sea turtles and surfers. Excellent sunsets! The location was perfect with shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The owners were great. Would definitely stay again!
