This Oceanfront Condo is at the Keauhou-Kona Surf and Racquet Club. It is a gated community directly on the Kona Coast with a pool, and tennis courts. It is directly adjacent to the Kona Country Club Golf Course, and within 10 minutes walk to the Kahalu'u State Beach Park and the Keauhou Shopping Center. The condo is also close to Magic Sands Beach and Keauhou Bay, the location of the Sheraton Resort and many snorkel, diving, and whale-watching cruises.
This is a ground-floor unit, so you can walk right out the back door to the ocean. There are two bedrooms. The makai (ocean side) master bedroom has a Cal-King bed. The makua (mountain side) bedroom has two sets of full-over-twin bunk beds. There are also two queen-sized sofa beds in the living room. The maximum capacity is 12 people. The master bedroom and living room both have double-door access to the lanai and spectacular views of the ocean and the Kona Coast.
The condo was renovated in 2016. There is a spacious all-granite kitchen with all new appliances and cookware. There is a serving area and outdoor refrigerator on the lanai.
The living room has a big 60" high-def "Smart" TV with Netflix and cable. There is high-speed 100M/10M Wifi, and free phone service to the mainland US and Canada.
The pool and tennis courts are very well maintained and were renovated in 2016. There are BBQ grills and picnic tables located throughout the condo complex.
There is a high end Samsung large size washer and dryer in the unit. There is no AC, but the ocean breeze passes through the condo, and there are ceiling fans in every room. The condo is wheelchair accessible, with no steps or curbs anywhere.

Check-In: 4:00 PM. Early check-in may be permitted if the house is ready, and must be pre-arranged with us. The additional fees for early check-in are $58 for 2:00 pm check-in, $119 for 12:00 am check-in, and $200 for 10 am check-in.
Check-Out: 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be permitted if there is no new tenant arriving the same day. Late check-out must be pre-arranged with the manager. The additional fees for late check-out are $58 for 12:00 pm check-out, $119 for 2pm check-out, $168 for 4pm check-out, $224 for 6pm check-out, $268 by 8 pm check out

The place was fine to stay in. There’s a gross factor, the rusty tub and some fixtures. The fan vents in each bathroom was extremely filthy. Other then that it was a great location. We enjoyed the pool. The was a lot of beach items in the closet. We enjoyed the view daily! I would stay here again.

Upon arrival we were given the wrong gate code to get inside the resort property. We were unable to get ahold of anyone who could give us the proper code. We had to sit outside the gate until some stranger finally gave us their code to get in. Very disappointing and terrible way to start the trip. There are little ant like bugs everywhere in the unit, just don’t look to close. The back screen doors to the lanai are miserable. Lots of garbage peaking out from under the couches. The lanai is the best part of this unit, sunsets are amazing! To end our trip we started to do our laundry and turns out the dryer didn’t work. Real nice going home with a suitcase full of soaking wet clothes. When the manager or whomever finally called it was an hour before checkout and she didn’t seem to really care about any of the issues. Just basically told me to deal with it because there were other guests checking in that same day. Then the house cleaning crew showed up 20 minutes before our check out time and just unlocked the door and walked right in. I would skip this place and find a different unit to rent!

Beautiful location, loved hearing the waves crashing on the rocks. Condo itself could use some more updating, a pair of scissors would have been perfect! The screen doors need attention, very hard to open and close. The pool was wonderful, tennis courts to use with equipment for playing in the closet.

Rented Feb. 1-15, 2019. Location is terrific. Loved watching the wave action during a winter storm. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen worked very well. Excellent lanai. All tile floors work so well in Hawaii. The lack of A/C was fine for an oceanfront unit in the winter, plenty of cool breeze. The full size washer/dryer look brand new and were excellent. Enjoyed the lanai a lot and the outside extra refrigerator was great for chilling drinks. The fans were handy and made sleeping easy.
The problems with the condo : 1. Both large sliding doors need to be replaced or some heavy maintenance, they were difficult to move. 2. Towel rack for spare bedroom was off the wall and stored in cabinet. 3. The 2 living room couches are way past their replacement date.
Overall we thought the condo was a good one. We used the three beach chairs and umbrellas. Wall decorations were good quality. Wi-fi worked well but so did our own T-Mobile. TV was good, no DVD player. The parking was no problem..either a very short walk or when available one of the 2 visitor spots right in front of condo. BBQ was fine and 1 unit was very close.
