We had a magnificent stay! The unit provided everything we needed to feel right at home!
Pros- The unit had an ocean view from the lanai, and was a very close walk to the beach. There was a good amount of beach gear which was a nice touch. Kitchen had plenty of dishes. There was soap and shampoo and conditioner in the unit. There was a pool, but we didn’t use it. The decor was cute.Cons- It was not listed anywhere in listing that the AC had to be turned off when not in the home or in the bedroom. It was very hot when got there, and every time we came back to the unit. I specifically looked for a place with AC, so this was frustrating. I was told about this close to our vacation date, so I couldn’t cancel and find somewhere else. There were little black bugs that were crawling on me when I was on the couch. I reached out to the owner but could not get a picture (as requested) because the bugs were too fast. I didn’t hear back after that for a couple days. I avoided sitting on the couch the whole time because of that, which made it uncomfortable to watch TV or anything.
The 3 sleeping spaces, 2 bathrooms, great kitchen and lovely balcony made it so pleasant and easy to be together and enjoy our time. Great central location for exploring the island. So close to beautiful sandy beaches for a swim or sunset. Groceries, food trucks and variety of restaurants were also conveniently located and made meals a no fuss breeze. The complex and neighborhood felt safe and friendly. We will definitely be back!
We very much enjoyed the condo, it was very nicely furnished and once we “ baby proofed” to avoid damage to the decor we could relax while there. Excellent location near beach and snorkeling all the amenities. Loved it
Decided to celebrate three birthdays all on May and a college graduation. Wonderful place and would come backnin a heart beat.
This unit was located in the perfect spot
This was the best family vacation! Two adults and a 9 and 4 year old stayed here. The location to the beach was great, an easy five minute walk. Other beaches were also easily accessible with just a 10-15 minute drive. The house was updated, clean and had what we needed. The pool was also used for nightly swims before bed. When I had questions for the owner, I received an immediate text response back that resolved the issue. Would stay here again!
The property was the perfect space for our family. We were able to look out at the ocean from the balcony and were just a short walk to a wonderful beach.

Absolutely beautiful condo!!! The main bedroom downstairs is a really good size with dressers and a huge closet and plenty of room to walk around. The bathroom downstairs is big and plenty of room for your stuff!!!
Kitchen/great room was perfect to play games and watch some TV. ONLY thing, I wish there was another big chair in the living room because there is only a couch, but that’s not a deal breaker!!
Kitchen is completely stocked with everything you need!!! A few spices too!!
Patio was beautiful with great views of the sunset and ocean.
Upstairs loft was big and had curtains around the stairwell for privacy. Bathroom upstairs was big too!!
Pool and barbecue areas were clean and very enjoyable!!
The entire complex was super clean and quiet!!

There are games in the cabinet under the TV, we left Yahtzee and two UNO games!!
Tim and Gretchen are absolutely wonderful and have awesome communication!!
The condo is completely updated and remodeled!!
Washer and dryer are in the unit so you can wash beach towels!! Plenty of extra towels!!!
There were 4 adults and a 4 month old and it was plenty of space!!!

We really felt at home and the apartment didn’t lack anything! We can absolutely recommend staying at Tim and Gretchen’s condo! Everything was perfect!

Very nice condo, well appointed, in a good location in the heart of Kihei and near many beaches. Loved the extra beach gear for day and lanai for sunsets.
This condo is an a great location with easy access to beach and an easy walk to some restaurants and shopping. Kitchen had everything you need to cook some meals if you want to do so. Our only issue with the stay was with the neighbors who were consistently load every night - screaming and yelling until about 11pm each night. Otherwise our stay was great!

Maui Vista is in the perfect location close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, entertainment. The condo is on the top floor you have a beautiful view of the ocean and the mountains. You can see the court yard with the tennis courts and the pool as well as the parking lot from the side window. The condo has everything you need in the kitchen as well as the bathrooms. Plenty of towels as well as beach towels. We put the boogie boards and beach chairs to good use. The condo is very comfy. It felt like home away from home. We would recommend this spot and would definitely stay again.
Highly recommended this unit to family of 3-4, the apartment is spotless and beautifully decorated.
Located in the heart of kihei, very close to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants, the host provided beach towels, chairs, umbrellas also other water equipment for you to use. Only thing is the air conditioning in the bedroom is loud, other than that everything is perfect!

Owners sent very detailed instructions and information to make everything so easy and seamless. Great use of space that is modern, yet so warm. Plenty of supplies for our stay as well. Fully stocked with plates, glasses, bowls and silverware. Plenty of pots and pans with cooking implements as well. Beds are super comfortable and the unit is very clean and well kept. Air conditioning unit cools the unit comfortably along with ceiling fans. The view is spectacular and so close to the beach, shopping and eateries, including a food truck area! Family friendly and lovely for anyone staying in Kihei. Would definitely book again!!
Maui Vista impressed us. We loved staying there with our family of six. This is a very clean, beautifully decorated and affordable condo. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of birds and beautiful flowers. The pools and tennis courts were convenient. All of the beach equipment was a plus! We loved the view from the lanai. We ate breakfast there every morning. We even saw some whales breech near the Molokini crater. The hosts have thought of everything you might need, and it was easy to make meals. We loved coming back every night to our home away from home. Very welcoming and we would love to stay again.
Our group (2 couples in our 50s) had a great stay at this condo. We really enjoyed the seating area on the lanai where we could see Molokini Crater and the island behind it. We also saw a few whales breaching and caught some great sunsets. There is a cute gecko that hangs out on the lanai- he does not seem bothered by people at all. The unit was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, everything well maintained.
Quite a few restaurants in walking distance. Beach is a very short walk away. (We really enjoyed eating at Da Kitchen- short drive away, well worth the trip!)
We only had 2.5 days on Maui (went to the 4 main islands this trip) and our focus was a whale watching/molokini crater tour and Haleakala sunrise. This condo was well located to do both.
We have stayed in 5 different units in Maui Vista - Tim & Gretchen’s unit is by far the best one we’ve had the pleasure of using. Building 2 is the best location (away from the road noise) and the views of the ocean are exactly as advertised. You can have breakfast on the lanai while watching the boats in Molokini. The condo has everything you could possibly need for a beach outing. This is the first time we didn’t visit a rental shop for any beach gear. The of the beds were extremely comfortable. All in all, we hope we are able to stay here again! Mahalo!

Just a tip, the dryer doesn’t completely dry everything, but just hang up to air dry for a little bit and it works great, especially the towels.
We had a great stay here. The owner was extremely responsive to our emails and accommodating to our requests. The unit is well organized, well stocked, clean, recently updated, and easy to access. The TV, washing machine and dryer made it convenient with our two kids (ages 3 and 5). However, there is no bathtub if you need one for bathing very young kids.
It's the perfect place to stay if you are planning on spending your vacation doing various outside activities since the condo complex doesn't have much to offer. It is on the older side and the pool is very small. The unit itself was in a great location, central to various destinations on the island, and close to Charlie Young beach. For access to the beach, you do need to cross a busy street. If you have a family with young kids with the need to carry multiple beach items, it's probably easier just to drive and park in the free parking lot. There are also great restaurants and food trucks nearby.
