    Tastefully designed and newly upgraded reflecting quality and comfort, this top floor cozy condo is nestled among the tropical treetops, with private lanai and peek-a-boo views of the ocean. My wife and I affectionately call our unit #322 the Kona Dove. It is, in our opinion, one of the more desirable units in the Kona Islander Inn complex; ours is a top-floor unit, away from the traffic noise of Alii drive and Kuakini Highway, but close enough to hear soothing surf sounds at night. Our west-and-south facing lanai has an extra-expansive and open view since our unit is also a corner unit. And my wife Therese is an artist and designer- we keep our unit lovely and clean inside!

    • Fully equipped kitchenette with brand new microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, electric skillet, cutting boards, dishware, serve-ware and utensils.
    • A quality 40” inch flat screen TV with remote and free cable. High speed internet available in reception/lobby area.
    • Cozy upgraded bathroom with new modular shower and chrome fixtures with pocket door off of kitchen for privacy, hair dyer and extra towels.
    • A lovely bedroom/living area with sliding glass doors that lead out to your private lanai.
    • New air conditioner with remote control.
    • Spectacular location in the heart of historic Kailua Kona Town, in close proximity to beaches, snorkeling, cafes, shopping, dining and farmer’s produce and artist’s market. Just a few steps through the garden to the pool/Jacuzzi area where there are two gas BBQ grills for your use.

    This condo was squeaky clean and well maintained. Decor was so cute too! Great location close to restaurants and downtown Kona. Good value, would stay here again. ☺️ The only thing that was a bummer was parking. It was really difficult to find a parking space, particularly in the evenings. We often had to park on the side of the highway. This has nothing to do with the host, the complex just doesn't have enough on site parking.

    Had a lovely stay at this cozy, clean, and quiet studio. The lanai is private and nestled among lovely tropical plants/trees. Condo is located in center of town so it is easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and beaches. A vehicle is not needed with free trolley and bus service. Dave is an exceptional communicator and had quick responses and remedies to my inquiries. Condo was very clean. Will return again.

    This property was a great place to stay. Right in the heart of Kona and easy to get to anywhere you needed. The hosts provided excellent communication and were available whenever we needed them. Mahalo!

    The property is next to Ali’i Drive which has lots of restaurants and bars. The property was very clean and had a wonderful view of the ocean even though it’s not ocean front. The only concern we had is that there isn’t a bathroom sink.

    This little place was an absolute delight. Quiet in spite of being in downtown Kona. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants, beaches. Beautiful tropical landscaping gave a special atmosphere. Perfect accommodations if you are planning to be out and active during the day. We did struggle at first without a full kitchen but the appliances were a huge help. Would definitely come back!
