Niulani Lanikai offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and is located in the popular Kauai town of Kapa’a. You’ll find yourself just steps away from the Kauai Village Shopping Center, pristine beaches, cool and funky boutiques, the incredible restaurants of Kapa’a and many of Kauai’s most popular attractions.

At this central location, you’re just a five-minute drive from Lydgate State Beach Park, Fern Grotto, Kamalani Playground and Wailua Golf Course. For those who enjoy an active experience, rent a kayak and paddle up the Wailua River to see not just the breathtaking scenery, but one of Kauai’s famous hidden waterfalls!

If you’d like to stick closer to home, simply walk outside your door and take a stroll on the walk/bike path, as you listen to the waves crash and marvel at the clear aquamarine water.

The main home of this unique Kapa’a property boasts two bedrooms, an open loft and 2 full baths. In traditional Balinese style, you’ll find lofted post-and-beam style ceilings, creating plenty of air flow throughout the great room. This area is richly decorated in island decor and offers living room, oceanfront dining and a spacious and fully equipped kitchen.

Walk out on the deck to enjoy a meal al fresco at the dining table, prepared with a custom BBQ grill.

The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed on the oceanfront side with sliding glass doors that leads out to the ocean side lanai and private marble lined bath/shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed. A loft bedroom over the living area offers a full-size bed.

The Surf Shack is a charming detached cottage with one bedroom (Queen bed), one bath home with a cozy living area with flat screen TV, refrigerator, sink & dishwasher. It also boasts a front porch and small lanai off the main bedroom.

The Mermaid Lounge is a separate living area, above the garage, it's 1-bedroom (Queen bed), 1-bath property with vaulted ceilings with the comfortably furnished living area, flat screen TV and a countertop refrigerator. Ocean views from the front lanai.

Perfect home for our vacation. Our family of 9 (grown children and spouses) thoroughly enjoyed this property. Each couple had their own space with a bedroom and bathroom and our 17 year old loved his loft bedroom😊 This house had everything we needed from cooking to beach trips (chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler) it was stocked. We loved watching the sun rise from our ocean view each morning and watching the ocean in the evening was so calming. We actually had a huge seal come and rest on the beach in front of the house one day…so awesome! We loved how central the location was to getting to our Napali tour, kayaking/waterfall hike and visiting Hanalei beach. Lots of cute stores and restaurants close by and the bike/walking path was right out our door. Beds were comfy and the fans kept the house cool (we were worried about no AC, but not a problem at all). Beautiful, comfortable house with a safe neighborhood location.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is one street off the main road on the beach. The beach is rocky, but nice. The house is outdated and worn. No AC, most windows don’t work well. However the house has everything that you would need as far as kitchen supplies, beach chairs, towels, linens, etc.

So much that was great about this property for 4 couples to enjoy 10 days in beautiful Kauai. 1. We all had private bed and bath. 2. Right on ocean! You could wiggle your toes in sand or sit elevated on a beautiful deck or yard. 3. Location was perfect to see all sides of the island easily. 4. Location 5 minutes from grocery store. We cooked alot of meals. 5. Living/Dining room was big enough for all of us to be together! 6. Room full of snorkel equipment and chairs was awesome. 7. The kitchen was fully appointed with anything you needed to make almost anything. 8. Right on a ocean side walking/biking trail! My only complaint was the beds were ridiculously hard. Besides this, it was really a great property! Book it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our beachfront stay. The property is well located with level walk to shops and eateries. Well equipped. Great collection of sand and beach equipment incl beach towels. Plenty of ‘space’ for everyone.

Easy access to all the good spots on Kauai, even though traffic in Kapaa can be horrible. Good selection of restaurants and shopping in walking distance.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Highly recommend this beautiful vacation home for anyone considering Kapaa. Such a special property right on the water with amazing breezes. We could have never left but it’s so conveniently located to stores, shops and restaurants that you can’t pass up. We took advantage of the spacious kitchen and bbq, not to mention the view that beats any restaurant that we cooked in mos5 nights. Was comfortable and well appointed. Would come back here every time we plan to visit the islands.
