We stayed at the Pali Kai Estate with our kids (early 20s) and their friends. IT WAS AMAZING! The home was even better in person than the photos (can you imagine?) The location was wonderful. Easy to get to the beach, restaurants, the local store, hiking trails, the airport...it really was a family trip in paradise!

The house is very dramatic. Patrick and his team were fabulous. I called almost daily with an issue and he took action immediately. I own and run a vacation house. I know what I do for my guests before they arrive. This house just was not ready for guests. There was suppose to be an instruction book to help us on how to operate the air conditioning, tv’s etc but it was unfortunately missing. This house is VERY complicated to run. We had 2 toilets that did not work. The kitchen, dining room and living room floors had spills, spots and debris on them. One bedroom’s sheets had blood, vomit and other stuff on them. We have the photos. We had 1 (not one set, ONE )bath towel and wash cloth in the main floor master. Our first day we washed sheets, towels and mopped the floors. We couldn’t find a broom to pickup all the sunflower seeds under the couch’s in the living room. There was a water leak in a closet. The dryer didn’t work. Arriving to have to finish the cleaning crews job, (they need more training) was not what we went on vacation for. Would we stay here again? IN A HEARTBEAT!. Pour a glass of wine go sit on the lanai and you can overlook what did not work inside. Have another glass of wine and you won’t notice all the things that were dirty or broken or just not provided as expected.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the most incredible stay at this BEAUTIFUL property. I can not say enough about what it has to offer. The property is just as it appears in the pictures. It sits high on the cliff and overlooks the beautiful bay by the Marriott resort. Windows are floor to ceiling so you feel like you’re right on the ocean and the crashing of the waves you hear constantly in the background. We came with my adult children and their families to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It was so fabulous to have a place we could all be together at, to have meals, play games etc, but then we could use the amenities of the beautiful Kauai Marriott Resort as well. We used the beach, the pool, the restaurants and it was within walking distance to the resort. This was a gem and a dream come true for our family!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to the house very hot, later to find out the heater was set to 85. The arrival and first day were not pleasant as we were trying to get a hold of concierge and management to assist. The house was dirty on arrival, little children handprints all over doors and mirrors, guest bathroom was dirty with soiled towel on the floor filled with sand, upstairs room rugs were in a pile and dirty with cleaning rags and later to find out the bed was stained with blood in same room. For the price of this estate we expected arrival to be amazing - it was a rough first day. The outdoor grill did not work for our burger night (we had burgers shipped in from Pat La Frieda) and the gentleman that came next day to fix was unable to fix. No return call from the management. We ended up grilling the burgers inside and found there was no fan on the oven/grill. The house and accomodations are beautiful but we had these unexpected surprises. We would definitely come back if the issues were addressed and in writing that we would have a more pleasant arrival. We would recommend to a friend, but would give them details on our experience so they are not repeated.

The layout is not ideal for 10 adults and is more geared toward couples given the king bed suites. It would have been better to have the kitchen in top working order and stocked given the price point of the rental.
