This comfortable Princeville condo on north shore Kauai is a mile from shopping, a mile from casual dining at Hideaways Pub or oceanfront fine dining at the Princeville St Regis, ten minutes drive from the world renowned beaches at Hanalei Bay and Anini and (a treat for golfers) is less than a mile from the clubhouse at the Makai golf course. Whether your taste runs to the quiet contemplation of native plant botanical gardens, paddling along the Hanalei River, or more active pursuits like horseback riding or ziplining, it's all close by.

Our Alii Kai 3103 Kauai vacation rental is located on the ground floor with a furnished oceanfront lanai. This updated condo provides unobstructed oceanfront views from the living room and both bedrooms, and boasts a newly remodeled kitchen and master bathroom. Comfortably sleeps 6, with two queen beds in the master bedroom and one queen bed in the guest bedroom. There's a full kitchen, full size washer and dryer right in the condo, and cable television and wifi service are provided at no additional charge. The lovely modern kitchen has quartz counter tops and a large island, with an assortment of small appliances. When the weather turns rainy, you won't mind spending an afternoon indoors, with these comfy furnishings, large televisions, and private lanai that lets you stay out of the rain while still admiring the waves, birds, rainbows, even whales during the winter months.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was absolutely amazing! Condo was clean and surprisingly large, with a nice quiet desk in the back bedroom for when I had to work in the mornings. The grocery store is close, Hanalei is a short drive. We saw whales from the deck and albatross flying and other little birds came to sit on the rail and entertain us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We usually avoid ground level units but this one has an unobstructed view and a lanai above ground level. It is possible to walk below the lanai but no one did so while we were there so it was very private. The proximity to the ocean was delightful. It is furnished with 3 double-size beds with two of the beds in the master bedroom. The windows are well designed to catch the breezes and the temperature was comfortable during our visit.
