Effective June 17, 2024 through September 13, 2024 the A building at Papakea Resort will undertake an extensive plumbing project. Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless authorized for weekend work. Contractors may be present on the property to commence preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM. Non-working holidays are already included in the schedule. To minimize disruption, any excessively loud work will not commence before 10:00 AM. Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.

Papakea A 206 has stunning unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean and islands of Molokai and Lanai. You will sit on the second floor balcony 40 feet from the ocean and watch whales, turtles and dolphins. Enjoy spectacular sunsets and rainbows over the ocean. Papakea Resort has something for everyone, with two ocean front salt water swimming pools (one heated pool right outside your lanai and we provide beach/pool towels) and jet spas, three tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, 12 new stainless steel Weber BBQs, two saunas, putting greens and cabanas that can accommodate up to 35 people. Unlike most condo resorts on Maui, Papakea is low rise and low density. The resort offers 13 beautifully landscaped acres with multiple koi ponds and is located right on famous Kaanapali Beach.

Papakea A 206 is a newly remodeled studio condo with a split A/C system, ceiling fans and ocean breezes. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, range, garbage disposal and refrigerator with an ice maker. Entertainment includes a wall mounted flat screen television. WiFi is also provided. A 206 is furnished with tropical mahogany furniture (sustainably grown) and is decorated in Hawaiian decor with tile and wood flooring to make this condo feel cooler. Second time we’ve been to this resort. First, for our babymoon and now as a family of three. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot! Beautiful views, quiet and very conveniently located. The unit was well stocked, clean and very comfortable.

5 stars except the curtains!! The curtains in the room are sheer and wake you up as soon as the sun rises. All I would suggest are blackout curtains

My husband and I enjoyed our time at the Papakea and condo A206. The condo had everything we needed for our 10-day vacation, the location is perfect. We watched whales every morning off the Lanai while enjoying our coffee. I would recommend the condo to anyone wishing to have a memorable time in Maui.
