I've been coming to the Cove for 35 years now. This visit was for my daughter 's 20th birthday celebration and we had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. The unit we stayed in was nicely decorated and well stocked with cooking, implements. And of course the Cove was delightful with dozens of turtles for our snorkeling enjoyment.

We have visited Honokeana several times and love the location and the property. We felt that unit 214 was the nicest unit we have stayed in. It seemed recently remodeled and the kitchen was especially well thought out and equipped with a very complete set of kitchen tools and cookware.

This unit has been completely updated and is absolutely lovely. And the whole property is great! It's literally just steps down to the cove for some of the best snorkeling we've ever done. There are so many turtles! Check in and check out are easy and the property is immaculately maintained and quiet. To be clear these are condos and not a hotel, so it doesn't have a lot of the amenities that the big places have (which is how we prefer it). I recommend this to everyone looking for a quieter experience where every lanai faces the ocean.

We love staying at Honokeana Cove. It’s so peaceful & beautiful. This visit was our 4th time there. While this property is on the older side, it is very well maintained. Everyone we’ve come in contact with (staff & guests) have been very friendly. We will definitely be back!😊
Beautifully landscaped this condo is simple and relaxing and the cove is very nice for snorkeling and not having to fight the crowds. Close to groceries, restaurants and also a sandy beach. Perfect for a chill vacation.

We had a wonderful week at Honokeana Cove. This was not our first stay, and it won’t be the last. The actual cove is a fantastic snorkeling spot full of fish and turtles. Usually calm waters, easy entry you won’t find a better spot. We appreciate the small property and got to know some really nice people as we saw them each day in the pool. The condo itself was very clean and had everything you could want for cooking. The bathrooms were good, the air conditioner in the down stairs bedroom a bonus. We stayed in unit 214. The views were just incredible. Su in the office was helpful and we appreciated the hard work the gardener did every day keeping the grounds looking great. The descriptions on the website are very accurate as to each units furnishings. The location in Napili is amazing. There are restaurants close by as well as grocery stores and some shopping. Honokeana Cove is highly recommended by us!

The apartment had everything we needed and more! Su/Betty were extremely helpful with anything we needed. The garden and pool/bbq area was as immaculate as always. We loved hanging out on our lanai enjoying the amazing views and you cannot beat the wildlife snorkelling in the cove! Can't wait to come back!

The location can’t be beat. It is very quaint and there were so many turtles during my stay. Check in and check out was strict and for the price it would have been nice to have some form of housekeeping, at a minimum towel service. Check out by 10am with no wiggle room was allowed (I asked) and check in is late on the day so for $500 a day I think you are shorting folks by quite a bit on one of the reserved days. Would I stay here again? Probably so as the turtle watching was like no other. Around the corner was a nice sandy beach. There were many folks snorkeling in the bay at this resort.

This is our time staying in Unit 214, although we have been to Honokeana Cove numerous times. We loved the view and appreciated the extra fans, which provided additional cooling. Loved the downstairs shower and fully stocked kitchen. Only suggestions would be to provide a little more cupboard space for groceries and provide charging ports. Wish Wednesday Potluck would return. Love the staff and the grounds are beautiful and well kept.Would like to see some sort of policy / policy enforcement of respecting all guest's experience (i.e. guests should keep noise down and parents should remind their children there are other guests- they are not at home (screaming, yelling, etc.)

(Shhhh, don’t tell anyone!!) Honokeana is absolutely our favorite place to stay on Maui! This time, we were in 214, staying upstairs in the loft. We were happy with the unit - well-stocked and in good condition. The weather was warmer than usual, with few trade winds, so it was pretty toasty upstairs. Su was kind enough to loan us a fan, as the A/C unit is in the downstairs bedroom, where our friends stayed. Loved snorkeling with honu every day. It’s been a while since we’ve been at Honokeana - we think that the lull in visitors (due to covid) might have enticed more fish to return. Seems as if there were more fish in the cove than we remembered. The grounds continue to be immaculate and carefully maintained and the on-site manager was friendly, polite and patient with all guests. Su and Betty continue to do a great job with communication and operations. As I said, shhhh, don’t tell anyone else!

We loved our stay at the Cove . Can't wait to go back next year. The property is lovely .The staff was fabulous and helpful. The snorkeling is wonderful . We saw so many turtles . It is very relaxing and was nice not to have a million people and kids all over. We loved paddle boarding everyday and truly enjoyed our stay. It felt like most people there really respected the Island . It was so beautiful to wake every morning to see the Island of Moloka'i. We have found our spot on Maui 214 is well stocked and clean I don't think you could go wrong with any of the condo's . But also don't want to many people to find this GEM Honokeana Cove you've stolen my HEART Su , Betty & Ray are GREAT

I’ve been coming to the cove for 45 years. It’s as I remember. We enjoyed the newly heated pool. And the turtles were fabulous.
We had a wonderful stay at Honokeana Cove. The Cove had wonderful snorkeling, beautiful sea turtles, and the views were amazing. The condo had an old Hawaiian feel and was nicely decorated and comfortable, had everything we would need. Communication with property manager was excellent. The grounds and overall feel of this property on the Cove were 10/10. The only negative at all was the close proximity and related noise to a main road that you notice staying in the bottom bedroom. But the views, the Cove, the turtles, and the great snorkeling make up for that 100%. I truly did not want to leave, and wish we’d have stayed longer here and less time at the Sheraton. :)

We had a great time at the cove. This location has the best snorkeling and the cove has many turtles. We have stayed at the cove many times. Unit 214 is beautifully remodeled and the owner has everything you could need during your stay, great supplies in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc.
