This home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac just 125 yards from the famous Hanalei Bay Beach. The property is set back from the street on a flag lot and is adjacent to several acres of undeveloped land lending an unparalleled sense of peace and tranquility. From the bedrooms and the lanais, there are lovely views of the waterfalls towering over Hanalei town
The large back lanai is furnished with comfortable furniture and looks out toward the creek on the neighboring property and undeveloped land beyond where the lovely melody of birds can be heard all day. It is a place where you and your family can sit and enjoy the peaceful island breeze and the untainted views.
The house boasts lovely decor, tile floors, and granite counters. There is a 550-square-foot tastefully decorated loft. A large kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, five-burner range, a garbage disposal, and hundreds of square feet of counter space to provide for all your family's dining needs. The adjoining dining room has flexible seating. A 300-square-foot covered lanai is located outside of the kitchen if you prefer to dine outside.
The gardens surrounding the house have been lovingly landscaped with dozens of varieties of tropical flowers and foliage. The scent of pikake, plumeria, and gingers waft through the house on the gentle island breeze. You will find the beautiful and unusual heliconia flowers in an amazing variety of colors and shapes.
In the midst of this incredible yard, you will also find a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water where you can peacefully bathe under the stars.
Our special island home has been rejuvenated with love and special attention to detail. We are sure you will find it both comfortable and relaxing. It is imperative that if you plan to go on vacation that you purchase travel insurance in the event that you cannot travel due to illness, natural disasters or other. Hanalei is in a tsunami zone and Hawaii does experience occasional hurricanes as well as flooding. When you arrive, please familiarize yourself with evacuation procedures located in our home. Our stay at this home was just wonderful. The house is lovely - extremely comfortable, well stocked and clean. The location is perfect - quick walk to the beach and many restaurants. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay there again next year. Ann was great - very communicative and made the whole process so easy. Thank you so much!

Location was good, 5 minute walk to Hanalei beach, 10 minutes to town. Had good beach supplies, wagon was really helpful, sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, etc. Had snorkeling gear, but figure most will rent in town, since that's pretty cheap to do. Contacted Ann with question and she called me back in less than five minutes. Kids had fun on wrap around porch. Thought yard would be better, so kids could play in it. Really liked the outdoor shower, I looked forward to it each day. Wish it were cooler in the house. Porch to side of kitchen was always cool, wish beds were out there. Kitchen is nice, everything we needed was provided. Washer and dryer are always a bonus. Wish there were a little more room to socialize downstairs. Kids would go upstairs, but with a little one under two, we constantly had to beware of steps. Plenty of games to choose from. Would consider staying again, although no refund policy might discourage us, as we intend to book next year's visit soon and making plans a year in advance is always a little tricky.

We loved this property. The house had everything we needed, with a beautiful kitchen and a fantastic lanai. Quiet neighborhood and a short walk to Hanalai Bay where we swam and saw fantastic sunsets and into town where we found some great restaurants and shopping. The hosts provided so much helpful information about the house and the area. Some in our group struggled with the lack of air conditioning in the house - even with the abundance of fans that were provided and the breeze, it was sometimes uncomfortably hot for a few of us. But overall, I would highly recommend this wonderful house if you're going to be in the Hanalai Bay area.

Nice home in Hanalei for a family or group. The 2nd story living area has a nice breeze. Walking to the beach and pier area is a plus. Friendly owner with good communication.

The house was spacious and the wrap-around porch provided tons of outdoor space even when it was pouring rain. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots&pans, cutlery, and other appliances including the best little ice maker in the world.
Despite being almost surrounded be neighbors the house felt very private even out on the porch. The Hanalei strip is a 5-10 min walk and you can be on the beach in 2 mins. Sunsets on the beach, sunrise lighting up the cascades on Mt. Waialeale - we can't wait to come back!

The home was great and just as described on the website. The house is blocks from the beach. Ann was a wonderful host who took very good care of us and even brought us extra towels. Would hope to visit again soon!.
