Maui Vista is in a great location in Kihei. Although it is an older property, it is well maintained and an enjoyable vacation stay.

The room served its purpose, which was an affordable place in Maui to lay our heads. The location of the condo was good with a wonderful beach right across the street. The room itself is fairly dated and don't plan to sit on the couch, as the springs gave up several years ago. But overall the room was clean, but definitely could use an update.
All in all it was a place to sleep and make coffee which if that’s all you need it’s fine when you have the beach so close. The unit could use some additional updating with some furniture replacement because of over use. But what really made me unhappy was an incident over neighborhood cats who roam the property at different times of the day and night and the lack of knowledge of Maui County’s laws and procedures by the Maui Vista staff. Seeing the trap set right in front of the lanai was upsetting .
Needs a total reno and all new stuff. The towels, bedding, get rid of carpet, new furniture. This u it 3205 could look better but for now, I would give it a pass. Looked good on internet but in oerson, it did not shine.
Cabinets are dated and have been repainted (poorly) No fan in bathroom. Carpets are dated and not good for this climate and sand brought in from outside. Found roach in carpet. Sliding screen is bent and in need of repair as it comes off runner all the time. Closet door in hallway is old and bent. Bathroom toilet needs an upgrade!
We have never previously paid a VRBO fee on top of the rental fee.
We have stayed at much nicer suites within the same condo complex. This was the poorest and one in need of an upgrade.
This is a great place if you just want to experience Kihei. It is close to shopping and right across from the Charlie Young Beach. Simple, basic Condo!
