The condo is exactly as pictured. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is decently stocked. The condo was as clean as it could be. I also appreciate enough laundry and dish soap to get through the week. All that said, the condo needs a spruce. The door to the patio is almost impossible to open. The TV in the living room is ridiculously small and the couch is very uncomfortable. All the surfaces are very dated and cannot be cleaned properly. The AC sounds like a plane is landing in the hallway. The carpet is dirty. It has the potential to be a great unit with a little investment and the time is passed to do it.
great location, great view
The location was perfect with views of the ocean, Molokai and Lanai! We spent lots of time on the expansive lanai, eating and watching the sunset and then the stars. It's a spacious unit and was very quiet when we were there. The kitchen pots and pans could be replaced and the Teflon is old and the stainless warped. But I still managed to prepare some delicious meals with local fruit and vegetables. Great beaches are nearby and a fantastic vegan restaurant 10 minutes away. Plenty of beach chairs and coolers. Even snorkel gear if you don't have your own. The rental company is very responsive to any questions or requests.
As you know the unit was not good so we moved to a much better one.
Problems: when barefoot the caroet nails where the carpet meets the tile would stick you. Next, the LR carpet was dirty and stained. The unit has much wear and tear. For Kapalua must be upgraded. The sofa sleeper most uncomfortable.
The floor of the small shower had areas where the surface is eroded. The shade in the master BR is broken. The fit and finish of caninets is poor. The electrical outlets are tan but the walls are white. Oddly the smoke alarm is a dark tan.
This is an amazing location if you want to stay in West Maui. The views from the place could not be beat! Perfect Stays is also an awesome company to work with. Everyone was so helpful and available for questions on both email, text and phone. I think they're probably the best management company I've worked with since I started using home rentals for vacations! They were great. The apartment, though a great location, is a bit outdated. The kitchen isn't really outfitted for cooking. If you just use the fridge to keep leftovers and microwave, you'll be fine. The entire place hasn't had a remodel in a while so if you're looking for something swanky, this isn't the place. But again, the location is perfect and the views were stunning! Note that West Maui and particularly this area is under a constant drizzle, which we loved! Even when it was hot in other parts of Maui, we'd get back to our place and it was a cool drizzle falling. Just perfect!

The unit needs a lot of work. The ice maker did not work the dryer broke down and the air conditioner in the living room brook down.this was totally inconvient for our stay. .

Beautiful view and location. Easy walk to beach. We had a great time. One suggestion, the kitchen appliances (coffee maker, toaster(broken), pots and pans) very old and could use an update
Great Location, nice huge deck patio and amazing view
We love the Golf Villas and have stayed there 9 times, starting in 2010. Kapalua allows us to hike so many different trails, we can watch the whales, go to the beach, or hang out at the pool. It was a perfect, relaxing holiday! We are anxious to go back!
View is stunning! Has everything you need. Decor is not updated, but is pretty clean and mattress was great.
