Enjoyed the amazing sunsets at night and close walk to Charley Young Beach. We used the grills a few nights and enjoyed the atmosphere, didn't try the pool etc much. Walking distance to food and bars was great for a couple date nights.
It was just as advertised in the photos. Great view of the ocean from the balcony and we spent many mornings sitting out there, drinking coffee. This location is right in the middle of great dining, shopping, night life, and is across the street from the beach. We had a vehicle to explore the island but we also did a lot of walking around as a car is not necessary. There is even an ABC store with everything you could possibly need from touristy stuff to toilet paper only 2 blocks away. The AC cools off the rooms quickly. The only drawback was water pressure in the shower - it was fine for my husband but I have very long hair and it took longer/extra work to get all the shampoo/conditioner out. As long as you know this up front, you'll be fine. I worked from the unit Mon-Fri while my husband was teaching at a local business and the internet was great! Having a full kitchen saved us a lot of money and was wonderful. The complex has plenty of parking and everyone was friendly. Not a party kind-of place so it was nice and peaceful. If we come back to Maui, we will definitely stay here again!!
My family and I stayed in Maui Vista 1422 last week. The place was beautiful and very clean. It had all of the amenities we needed. Beautiful view from the balcony, complete kitchen, washer & dryer, and A/C in all sleeping areas. It was close to the elevator and garbage chute. The beach is also right across the street. It was a great home away from home!
Really great place! Great view! Cold AC, nice bathroom! Elevator is close by! Pool and beach is close by! Walking distance to restaurants! Plenty of towels, snorkeling set, beach chairs, wavestorms, washing machine, extra pillows and blankets included. Would have loved to stay longer! Mahalo nui
