Effective October 28th, 2025, through November 25th, 2025, Papakea Resort will undertake an extensive plumbing project. Some parts of the building will start this work soon, and you may hear some noise during this time. Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless authorized for weekend work. Contractors may be present on the property to commence preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM. Non-working holidays are already included in the schedule. To minimize disruption, any excessively loud work will not commence before 10:00 AM. Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
Papakea Resort has something for everyone, with two ocean front salt water swimming pools (one heated pool right outside your lanai and we provide beach/pool towels), three tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, 12 new stainless steel Weber BBQs, two saunas and putting greens. Unlike most condo resorts on Maui, Papakea is low rise and low density. The resort offers 13 beautifully landscaped acres with multiple koi ponds and is located right on famous Kaanapali Beach.
**PLEASE NOTE that Papakea Resort requires a $25/day facility fee. The fee includes a parking permit, Wi-Fi throughout the resort, cable and local calls during your stay, yoga, water aerobics and other classes, complimentary use of tennis racquets, putting, and pickleball equipment. Additional vehicles are $5 a day. This is collected by the Front Desk upon arrival. **

Papakea J303 has a split A/C system installed in the living area, is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo situated on the 3rd floor, and can accommodate up to six guests. There is an elevator for easy access to the unit. The fully equipped and newly remodeled kitchen features new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, tiled back splash, new counter tops, and custom lighting. Enjoy dining either on the outdoor lanai or inside with dining for four plus the bar area. There are ceiling fans throughout the condo and bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a comfortable King size bed and offers a flat a screen TV. In the en-suite bathroom, you will find a beautifully remodeled and tiled oversize walk-in shower with seats for added convenience. In the guest bedroom you will find a Queen size and Twin-size beds as well as a flat screen TV. The second bathroom is beautifully remodeled and offers another walk-in shower. In the living room you will find a comfortable Queen size sleeper sofa and flat screen TV. The condo also includes a washer and dryer, free WiFi, DVD player and cable.
Papakea Resort is located at North Ka'anapali Beach and features 11 acres of lush landscaped grounds, fresh water koi ponds, 2 salt water swimming pools, 2 large jacuzzi's, 12 gas BBQ's, 2 putting greens, 2 shuffleboard courts and 3 lit tennis courts, complimentary concierge services and a 24 hour front desk with plenty of open parking. The place was clean and well appointed. No issue with the unit. However, we left a pair of AirPods in the bed and a bracelet on the dresser by accident upon check-out. When they checked with the cleaners they reported them not found. When we asked the management company to return to the unit to check they refused to disturb the next customer. We found that policy unreasonable and not customer oriented. We have lost some valuable items and believe that a timely search of laundry and room might have turned them up.

The condo had everything that you could want. The condo was fully updated and equipped with everything you need to cook or grill. A beach chair broke and the staff immediately brought a new one. They were always timely with responses when I emailed.

Loved the place. The resort is so well maintained. The apartment is very comfortable. Location is great. I would add more drinking cups (there were only 3 or so) and more beach towels (we got three for 4 people). Other than that it was perfect.

The main issue we had was with the Air Conditioning. There is technically AC in the place, but it is only in the living area. It wasn't powerful enough to cool the bedrooms. While there were fans in the bedrooms, it wasn't enough to keep us cool at night in September. However, the rest of the condo was really nice. Clean condo, awesome landscaping, great pools, and plenty of places to eat and shop that are within walking distance.

The location is perfect. My only complaint was we found the cleaning to be lacking. there were HUGE toenail clippings left on the seat of chair in master bedroom and elsewhere in the condo. seems like they just sprayed cleaning smell but didn't wipe anything down. Thick layer of dust on pictures and shelving and cabinets in kitchen. We went and bought Clorox wipes and windex wipes. I reported to the front office my findings and they apologized but nothing came of it. The Condo itself was in fair condition, the bed was comfortable, the grounds were great.

Super clean room with just the right amenities (AC, cookware, beach gear/towels). Loved the updates to the bathrooms and kitchens. Great location, and the resort activities (pickleball, putting green, pool) were just right. Would definitely stay here again.

All the necessities were available in the condo. My friends made breakfast every morning in the kitchen. Lots of beach equipment to take to the ocean and enjoy the sand and surf. We had no problems during our stay at all!

Very convenient oceanfront location, quiet neighbors, well kept property with everything we needed. Beaches were farther than I expected, but we still could drive or walk. People were very nice and I felt safe on the property.

The condo was clean and had everything as advertised. Although the property is not directly on the beach, it faces the water with a beautiful view. You can sit on a grassy area that overlooks the water. The beach is a very short walk away at the end of the property.

We really enjoyed our stay, however, missed having an elevator. I have a bad knee and ankle. Other than that, everything was great!
