    Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this was a good stay. Good location. Floor to ceiling windows with a great view of beach and city. Kitchen was well stocked. We really appreciated they accommodated early check in after a long flight. A few things that could have been better:1. When we opened the sofa bed, there were debris and crumbs- I’m not sure exactly what these were, but it was not sand. This was particularly disappointing since I reached out to the property manager a few days earlier for this specific item. I read a review that the sofa bed was not properly cleaned for them, so I wanted to make sure this was taken care of for us. He gave me a thumbs up, but clearly ignored my request. Since we discovered this after their house keeping went home for the day, the property manager couldn’t offer any help. He suggested we wash the mattress cover if we’d like, and we did. This wasn’t a big deal, but we certainly did not plan on doing this on our first night in Hawaii. This also made us wonder- what else did they not clean?2. Property manager was not very reliable with our request. In addition to what I mentioned in the item above, there was one other request that was ignored, and I had to talk to the office directly to get it taken care of. 3. Property is near a bus stop, and you can hear the noise pretty well from the property.4. There was weird smell in the property. We couldn’t point exactly to what it was. Maybe it had to do with the age of the unit. We kept the windows open to let the smell out.5. Their sofa and outdoor furnishing need deep cleaning.

    Everything was amazing at this property. The layout and storage was great. We loved how the master bedroom opened up with pocket doors. The view was phenomenal even at night. It was nice the property include beach chairs, beach towels and they even had body boards. We have a family of five and everyone was very comfortable. My only constructive criticisms are: It would be nice if they had a cheese grater and more blankets. The drawers and cuboards had a really toxic oder. One day while we were out, we left them all open to air them out but the oder never disapated. I wonder if it was pest repellent which worked because we had no bugs, spiders or anything. Even with those minor issues we loved staying here and we would definitely go back.

    Great experience...only drawback was the outside furniture is showing allot of wear and needs a good cleaning.
