The condo has a direct oceanfront location with a fantastic view. You can watch the sea turtles right from your balcony. Location was perfect and the grounds were very nice. The condo is older and could use updating but it was fine and really it is all about the oceanfront balcony- you won’t spend much time in the rest of the condo! Highly recommended!
I have stayed in many 1 bedroom condos in Maalaea and this one wins the award for best view. Seeing whales first thing in the morning was not an unusual event. It is nicely furnished and decorated. The bathroom and shower are better than most. The unit does not have air conditioning which normally I do not care about. The one negative to this condo is the lack of airflow. The winds in Maalaea are brisk to say the least and flow from mauka towards makai. This unit has no screen door on the entrance so that is not an option. The bedroom windows have heavy curtains, unlike most of the units that have shutters. That means you have to choose between airflow and privacy, you cannot have both. Installation of shutters where you could vent the winds but still have privacy would be a big improvement. Other than that this is a lovely unit.

This property was perfect for my visit to Maui. I had stayed at this property back in January 2023 and was very happy to be able to stay once again. The condos location makes it convenient for activities. The gentleman in charge of maintaining the everyday maintenance of the complex worked hard to ensure the grounds were clean and accessible. I would highly recommend staying at this property.
Wife and I stayed for 7 days and got to wake up to turtles EVERY morning in the water right outside our porch. Awesome place
Wow! This property was such a hidden gem and my family and I loved staying here for 15 nights over Christmas and New Years. The condo is located on a quiet street right by the Maalaea Harbor and the complex is well taken care of. Compliments to the gentleman who cleaned the pool area and the grills every morning. The listing was very accurate and the price was right!
Positives: This is our second time visiting Maui and we absolutely loved this location. Access to the west and south beaches took anywhere from 10-45 minutes and it was awesome to be able to check the weather report and pick our beach accordingly. The kitchen and fridge were small, but well stocked and had everything we needed to cook our meals. The unit had 3 beach chairs and a beach umbrella, which was an added bonus. The coolest part about this unit though was the snorkeling spot we found about 200 yards away from shore, complete with a turtle washing station!
Negatives: Maalaea was very breezy every day. The couch/hide-bed was not comfortable or adequate for four. Only three of us could sit on the couch at a time and there wasn't another cushioned chair for the fourth person. We only had 3 beach towels. We were wishing the unit had a hanging system on the lanai to dry towels and some hooks for the wetsuits.
If you are looking for a comfortable condo with a great location to everything, this is the place for you!

We had a great time spending our 45th wedding anniversity in Maui. Weather was great despite being very windy the first two days. Accomendations were very nice and everyone was very friendly and helpful.
We love Maalaea Bay and have stayed next door at Milowai several times but we actually liked Maalaea Kai even better! Great view from the lanai. Watching the cute sea turtles 🐢 from the grounds and the lanai is so much fun. The pool is awesome! And grilling out by the ocean is incredible. We'll be back!!!
We had a beautiful stay at this property! The ocean breeze and sound of the waves coming in through the sliding door was so healing, so relaxing, the condo was so comfy and homey, and we loved every minute of it! Thank you for providing such peacefulness and beauty in a setting which will remain so memorable!
