The moment we arrived and checked out the deck, we were thrilled to see that it was truly oceanfront, and the turtles were swimming right below us. The views are amazing, and there is also an oceanfront pool that we took advantage of. We had just stayed at a luxury hotel in Hanalei with no lanai, so it was such a great contrast to stay at this lovely condo, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room area, and 1.5 bathrooms. The check-in process was smooth, and we had great communication with our host. Next time we would love to return and stay even longer!
We enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the property. Very comfortable for the two of us. We liked the small size of the overall property and listening to the ocean at night. The heated pool was right next to the ocean and never crowded. It’s a very quick stroll to the beach to see the turtles come in at sunset. Highly recommend.
This place is AMAZING. All of the photos and descriptions don't do it justice, and I would choose to stay here again whenever in Kauai. It's within walking distance to amazing beaches and views. The property itself is bigger than the pictures show, with plenty of room to stretch out for a couple. And the deck is the highlight, we spent every morning watching the sun rise, and every evening watching the sun set. Also saw too many whales to count, as well as groups of dolphins. Binoculars were available if you didn't bring your own. They also had a closet full of beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, etc...) I miss listening to the waves crash while drifting off to sleep, and can't wait to go back. When there was an issue with one of the windows malfunctioning, Parker quickly had it fixed with no issues, and made sure we had everything we needed. NOTE: In case you have mobility issues, be sure you can make it down the final flight of stairs to the condo, as there is no elevator and they are relatively steep.

This property was just what I was looking for and it did not disappoint. The condo was very clean and decorated very nice. The owners provide many books and information about the area and what to do. We spent many hours on the lanai watching the turtles right below the deck, watching whales and even a pod of dolphins. To top it off the sunsets were not to be missed. I would definitely stay here again.
This was a cool place to stay but it was quite outdated for the price. It had old couches, bed, appliances, etc. you couldn’t see out the windows because they were too cloudy. The blind in the bedroom was broken so there weren’t good views from your bed.
For the price it was I thought they could have put some money into renovating/ updating some of the amenities inside!
Excellent communication with Parker the property manager nice unit, but non functional air conditioning. We were offered a move for the last two nights. Pretty sticky for the first 4 days and nights. The second accommodation was a huge upgrade! Appreciated the effort to correct the problem. Would definitely return to the second condo!

Giving this five stars for the location and uniqueness of the experience. Hearing the waves crashing was soothing and being able to watch the sea turtles play was cool.
Feedback: needs a deep clean, dirt on the top of the fridge, dusty vents, etc. this would be a world class property if it was cleaner.
My spouse and I had a fabulous 5 night stay at this property. If you like sea turtles, holy cow is this the place for you! You can spot turtles right below the deck pretty much all day, every day. I must have taken 1,000 pics and videos. We spent time on the deck every single day, it's truly unique and makes this the best unit in Poipu Shores. The pool is small but deep, and so clean - they literally cleaned it every morning we were there. We were there in August when it was HOT and the pool was never crowded. The unit itself is dated, but so are most rentals in Kauai. The appliances are old but work fine. The AC (which we very much needed in August) worked great. You have to have it running all afternoon and night, but we could turn it off in the morning. If you want to hang out in a really nice looking condo for extended periods of time, it's probably not for you, but for us it was perfect since we were gone during the day and spent most of the time on the deck anyway.
I can't say enough about Parker the property manager. He was so helpful and communicative, right from the start when I accidentally made a booking mistake. He checks in just the right amount of times to make sure your stay is going well, and answers questions so quickly.
We would absolutely stay in this unit again!
This has to be one of the best units in the building with the amazing deck (shared with the adjacent unit only) overlooking a cove of crashing waves and swimming sea turtles. The sound of the waves put me to sleep every night. Loved discovering and watching all the turtles swimming, feeding, and surfing right off the deck. The unit is well appointed with what you need and expect. The queen size bed is very comfortable. The pool next door is nice with the perfect water temperature. The owner is very communicative to ensure your stay is going well. Only advice, and this applies not only for the condo but for Kauai in general, don't rent a huge SUV like we did. The spaces are tight. We would definitely stay at this property again.
Location for this place was unbeatable. The lanai is as good as it gets and is very close to any activity you would want to do on South shore in Kauai. Place felt private and accessible. Perfect for 2 people. Sea turtles were viewable from the lanai 24/7 for the 5 nights we stayed. We would absolutely stay again here if we got the chance!
