Poipu Shores 102B is the destination for a once-in-a-lifetime Kauai excursion. The 500 square foot private lanai, exclusive only to this and the neighboring 1-bedroom unit, is the only one of its kind on the island. The lanai is cantilevered over the cove below, giving you front row access to Kauai’s world-famous sunsets and sea life. You’ll spend your days watching Hawaiian sea turtle families and spend your evenings watching Kauai’s world-famous sunsets and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean right below you. Guests coming in the wintertime have an unparalleled view of the breeching Humpback whales and spinner dolphins just off the coast. Other guests are always respectful of the privacy of this lanai, whose access is gated off, meaning you’ll have an exclusive vista of the south shore. You’ll be enchanted by the views, the sounds, and splendor of Kauai’s south coast from your unrivaled vacation home.
Inside the unit, you’ll find an oceanfront condo with painstaking attention to detail. Owned by an architect and an artist, 102B is set up to be tasteful and welcoming thanks to central air conditioning, a lovely tropical layout, and top-of-the-line furniture. From the Shaker-style glass-fronted cabinets to the carved teak platform queen bed, you’ll feel right at home in this completely remodeled and refurnished jewel of the south shore. The ocean is the focus of the design, thanks to the tall walls of ocean-front windows and mirrors that echo the sheltering sky.
When you’re ready to head to the beach, Poipu Beach Park is only a 5 minutes’ walk down an oceanfront path. We’ve supplied you with beach furniture, beach towels, a cooler, and other beach gear so that you have everything you need to enjoy the sand and surf. Poipu Beach is a quiet and relaxing beach park that visitors, locals, and sea life (turtles, Hawaiian monk seals, and countless tropical fish) all call home. Just don’t forget your coral-safe sunscreen! When you’re ready to adventure, Poipu boasts a central location and the island’s most temperate climate zone to set the stage for unforgettable outings.

It is always "the people" who make the difference and the staff at Poipu Shores are really good people. Not only did they do everything you would expect from a staff they went above and beyond that to help us when we were forced to deal with a very unfortunate issue outside of accomadations. The location of the property is very central to all of the Poipu beaches and Koloa.

The location of the property is very central to all of the Poipu beaches and Koloa.

This property was just as advertised. The deck is literally over the Ocean and the turtles are there EVERY day multiple times. You have to like the roar of the ocean as it is right there but it is a great experience! Once in a lifetime experience. Go for it.

This place is as close to the water as it gets! Beach is a few blocks down the road or a short drive to get to less crowded sand. All the suggestions that were emailed and texted are on point and look forward to coming back again. Mahalo!!

This was our 1st trip to Kauai and I couldn’t have ask for anything more beautiful and relaxing. The waves crashing beneath our semi private balcony was breathtaking and intimidating lol. Sea-turtles greeting you every morning. The pool was fantastic. The only small problem was parking. Parker checked on us often and was an absolute sweet person with a list of recommendations before we arrived. The door code was very nice, no key to keep up with. We wish we would have had a longer stay but our next journey awaited us. We highly recommend this property, especially Unit 102B! Thank you Parker for everything.

Everything was perfect! We saw turtles swimming off the lanai every time we went out on it and the beach was a short walk away. We even saw about 60 turtles sleeping on the same beach one evening. Patrick's suggestions were amazing and the overall stay couldn't have been better!

102B is a cozy condo for two right on the water. Huge lanai overlooking the ocean and heated pool. Watched turtles and dolphins everyday. My husband and I had a lovely stay for our anniversary. Would love to come back!
