This condo has views of diamond head and the beach from the balcony. Great location as it is literally 2 blocks to the beach, right in front of Queens beach and 2 blocks from the main part of Waikiki beach and stores.
Could not have been a better location and the condo was clean and served all of our needs. Jon the owner was very attentive to make certain we had everything we need. I would stay there again in a heart beat!
I've stayed at Waikiki Grand for many years and love staying at the east side of Waikiki. This was my first time staying at Jon Stanley's vacation home. The unit was great and had everything I needed. I love that the there is a DVR and I could record my favorite shows. (I know I'm boring and not much for the nightlife.) Jon is a great host and kept me informed each step of the way. He was genuinely concerned I had access to all the amenities at his vacation home. I'm looking forward to staying at Jon's again in the years to come.
Whilst the apartment had been remodeled there were a few things that could have been improved. There was no sink in the kitchen area only a bowl to fill up in the bathroom to wash up. First impressions were that there could have been more attention to detail with the soft furnishings and the apartment appeared a bit drab as the curtains were badly stained and hung a foot from the floor. On the whole it was clean and the bathroom was well equipped with some toiletries as well. There were plenty of towels and beach towels.
The apartment was smaller than I expected and it would be a squeeze to get a third person in.
You could not fault the location or the view. It was lovely to wake up to the views of Diamond Head and the beach. It was only a minute to walk to the beach and a short walk along the seafront to the hub of Waikiki.
The reception desk could have been more helpful when we queried the lack of Internet connection. They only gave us the code after 5 days of querying this.
The owner was helpful and responsive to our queries. Our damage deposit was returned to us swiftly.
Overall it was good value for money if you are looking for low budget accommodation.
you could not get closer to the beach. great location , easy access to Waikiki trolley and all buses. the zoo is right across the street. great views of Diamond head and the ocean .pubs and restaurants and convenience stores are walking distance, Starbucks right around the corner.
the condo itself is basic , but has everything you need. wash towels, small beach chairs, and body board are provided, i did think the wifi was a little slow.
Wow....the views of the ocean and Diamond Head are amazing....great room and the location is perfect! Communication was excellent.....Would definitely stay again...and again...and again!!!
I stayed here with my mom for 10 days. The view from this place was amazing. You see both Waikiki beach and the Diamond head right in front of you. You can just enjoy the view from the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning. There are ABC mart, Starbucks, restaurants walking distance. Very convenient. There is a zoo parking for $1 per hour right across from this condo/hotel, and there is a free parking around the park in front of beach, but it is really competitive. The basic needs are there in this condo - 1 roll of papertowel, 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 sheet of mop cleaner, some garbage bags, dish soap...etc. If you have a car, there is a safeway nearby you can go to. The towels and beach towles are provided but they are very old (but clean). I would bring my own next time. The bathroom shower curtain was molding, so hopefully, this gets fixed before you stay. You will never see the manager or no phone number provided, but she is quick to respond over email. Only thing that was inconvenient for us was that the check out time was at 10am when my flight departure was at 6pm. You can store your luggage at the frontdesk, but they do not give you a luggage tag, so basically you just leave your luggage hoping it will still be there by the time you come back. Overall, the good location with the view was what we were looking for, so it was a perfect stay. I would stay here again.
Stayed in this studio for 5 nights at the beginning of August. It was my first time ever to Hawaii and I was so impressed when I walked through the door. When I stepped out on the lanai & saw the view I felt like I had won a lottery. The Studio is high enough that you have an amazing view of Diamond Head directly to the front and continues to the right across a beautiful park, palms trees and the ocean. Studio was wonderful, it was clean and tidy and conveniently located. ABC shop & Starbuck's are right next door, perfect for a morning coffee. Bus drops you off right outside the front and the ocean is 2 doors down and across the street. Booking with Tina was such a pleasure, she responded to every email and answered every question I had, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend staying in this Studio. I can't thank you enough for everything and for making my visit to Hawaii so perfect, I will treasure every photo of that view. Mahalo!!
This was the perfect place to stay for the tail end of our honeymoon this past week. We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved this cute little studio apartment! We would go back in a heartbeat! It was exactly as pictured here and so very clean when we arrived. It is in a perfect location close to everything with a beautiful view of both diamond head and the beach and pier. We loved the convenience and the peace and quiet of this place. We parked our rental car with no hassle across the street at the zoo for $1 an hour and quickly could get anywhere in Waikiki or Oahu. And it was perfect for the two of us with even the kitchen facilities if we wanted to eat in the apartment. There were even beach chairs and a boogie board for us to use and a beautiful view outside on the lanai. Definitely would recommend this to any couples or singles wanting to come to Waikiki but not wanting to pay the high prices for the hotels in the area.
