We spent nine days in this apartment. The apartment is nicely and cozily furnished. However, the sofa bed in the living room squeaks, which our children found uncomfortable.
What was very disruptive were the construction works that took place in various apartments of the complex throughout our stay. We were promised that there would be no construction noise on the weekend, but this was not true. Additionally, the neighbors were sometimes too loud, which disturbed our stay.
The complex is very well-maintained, and it is a pleasure to relax by the pool when there is no noise.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kona Makai. I had a great view from the lanai, the condo was clean and well kept, and it’s a beautiful location.
Clean place, nice view. Pretty good value for the money considering how much it costs everywhere around here. We liked that there weren't many kids either.
Unit was well furnished and supplied. Very tastefully decorated. Apartment complex is clean and well maintained.

Everything was perfect for our 7 day stay . The views are amazing. The condo has everything you need for a perfect stay . Perfectly located in Ali’i drive close to restaurants convenient stores….. will definitely come back for future trips to the big island :)

This is a great property, located close to many activities. It’s a nicely maintained smaller property so it is quiet and peaceful.
