Love staying at Kona Alii. Love proximity to town. And view is to die for. This unit was great because the upper bedroom had a wall to block it for privacy. Try to stay here ever time I go to Kona.

First, the photos did not do it justice the condo was much better. Second, great views, bedrooms and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The couple of times we needed small items the Kona Vacations contacts immediately provided. Third, the TV app took a little getting use to but we all quickly adjusted. Finally, and most importantly all owners and long term renters we met in the breezeways, elevator and pool area were very welcoming. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. We will return.

We had the most wonderful time staying at your property. It was exactly as listed, clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. David at the concierge was very helpful and helped us with booki g some of the excursions as well. We will definitely give you a 5 star for everything.

We stayed at the Kona Alii #705 and, let me tell you, this unit is amazing. Two full bedrooms, each with a full bath and air conditioning units that are quiet and work well. There is also an AC in the living room. The view from this unit is INCREDIBLE, and there is an expensive spotting scope that we used to see whales and dolphins. The woodwork in this unit is amazing -- from the floors, to the custom pocket doors upstairs, to all of the custom closets, drawers, and cabinets throughout. The furniture in the living room and even the lanai is comfortable and lovely, but there isn't so much that the place is crowded. It will take you a few days to figure out the lights, showers, etc... because it is all high-tech and fancy. Although we didn't use them, there are 3 high-end televisions and even iPods with music! The laundry room has been redone and includes not only top of the line washer/dryer, but a utility sink where you can rinse your snorkels and beach shoes! The kitchen is clean, beautiful, and functional. I liked the pots so much that I'm buying a set for home. The building is safe, clean, and within walking distance to dozens of restaurants, shops, and the King Kam beach. The staircase is steep, and not appropriate for small children and people w difficulty w mobility. But there is a bedroom downstairs and this building has 2 working elevators. The parking space for this unit is on the lower level, which is both convenient and keeps you dry when it is raining. Win!

This top floor condo unit has been beautifully renovated, with all needed amenities. So your stay will be comfortable. Then, there’s the view! Pictures of the view are accurate, and you will not be disappointed. My kids were very impressed and super excited to use the telescope. I enjoyed my coffee every morning on the balcony taking in the view and listening to the waves. Restaurants are in east walking distance. Covered Parking for this unit was very nice as well.

Great property. Well maintained and stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our only disappointment was the traffic noise from Alii Drive. Honking horns and reving engines made the lanai difficult to use.

Overall, the condo was perfect for us. The location was centrally located, making everything in Kona within walking distance. The kitchen was well-equipped with lots of appliances & nice utensils. The fridge was big with filtered water and fresh ice every day. The TV in the living room was perfect as we were able to sign into our streaming services. The music system is wired to work throughout the condo and lanai. The lanai is the absolute gem of the place. We spent so much time out there enjoying the breathtaking view of Kailua Bay. The condo also has 2 boogie boards, 4 beach chairs, 4 beach towels, 2 umbrellas, sand toys, and pool noodles. The bedrooms were perfect with very comfortable beds. A few more blankets would have been great. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There was TP, soap and shampoo there - enough to last a few days, but no conditioner. The pool was perfect - beautiful setting and nice temperature. We used it a few times and enjoyed the challenge of walking up 7 flights of stairs afterward. The only real complaint we had was the door lock. It is a combination pad only - no key. The combination is set remotely by the property management company. You get yours a few days before you check in. When my husband and I went food shopping on our second day, our 12 year old wanted to stay in the condo alone. He stays alone at home frequently. We told him not to open the door for anyone and we’d be home soon. He had the address and knew what to do in case of an emergency. As we're halfway through our food shopping trip, our phones are blowing up with frantic messages saying we need to get home now! Apparently, the condo’s maintenance man knocked on the door and wouldn’t leave. I called the management company and told them to have him leave immediately. We rushed back to the condo to find out that the man let himself inside with his own code. Thankfully he left, but when I spoke to the management company, they explained that many people have codes to get inside – vendors, maintenance people, the building management, the owner, etc. The management company was very apologetic and agreed to wipe all codes from the door lock except ours and theirs. The owner also apologized profusely and compensated us satisfactorily. Overall, the place and our stay was incredible. I added this story because the experience soured the start of our trip and as a mom, I think it would have been nice to know how the lock works before our stay.
