Wonderful place to stay for our vacation! The location is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the beach and watching the sunset numerous times. Walking distance to whalers general store and the cinnamon roll place. The unit was clean, quiet, and had all the things we needed. Communication before our trip was also excellent.
Greeted with roaches. Closet and shelves cluttered with owners property in a huge plastic bag advising "owners do not use". Closet unusable as it was full of large dresser mirror, two large box fans, vacuum clearner, ironing board, two very large coolers and a smaller one. Bedroom patio door and screen very difficult to use. In the second bathroom under vanity five gallon bucket of paint and some gallon buckets of other contractors materials. Under the vanity in the main bathroom was filled with about five hair dryer, one of which was a brush dryer that was full of others hair. There was no pressure in the kitchen faucet. Water dribbled out. Under kitchen sink and under vanities in both bathroom were filthy. When we called the management company they did come and fixed some of the problems but we never should have had to request it be done. We paid a lot and were very disappointed. We would never rent there or recommend this unit again. We stayed at Maui Banyon last year in the same size unit and it was a totall ydifferent experience.

We had an amazing time over the holidays at the property! Great communication with the staff and super friendly! We needed a larger parking spot for our car and we were accommodated no problem. We would definitely stay here again. So close to the beach and amenities. Very happy we picked this spot!

Nice and simple Kihei basecamp.
Location was amazing. Place was very clean & comfortable. There were 2 of us, & the place was a perfect size!
Bath room exhaust fans do not work, lite over table very discolored, bulbs out in bathroom.
Enjoyed our stay in this one bedroom 2 bath unit. Location is great and the grounds are well maintained. Beach was only a 3-5 min. walk and there are places to eat and shop close by
Usually my family likes to stay at the Maui Banyan but this time the unit was not clean and no A/C in the bedroom. We were moved to the Maui Sunset and that unit was great. Clean, nicely decorated and cool. We enjoyed our stay there. Reviews are for the Maui Sunset unit.

Great complex, great location. Property is in need of some minor maintenance and could use a thorough cleaning. Necessary repairs were completed in a timely manner. With a bit of work could be a very comfortable and cost effective place to stay. It's not quite there yet but has huge potential.

I had a wonderful stay at my vacation rental with Kumulani Vacations & Realty, Inc! I was literally feet away from the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The weather was beautiful which made my trip much more enjoyable.
First time visiting Maui and had an amazing experience. Staying in this property was also amazing excellent service with everything I needed and great views. I highly recommend this place and definitely I’ll be back to this place.
The local property manager (Wendi) was amazing and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We felt her aloha spirit and would give her a 10 star rating!
