I would highly recommend this property. The resort is beautiful and the unit is clean and comfortable. Has everything you need.
We have stayed at the Honua Kai before not through VRBO/Maui Rentals so I think we had a few different expectations about services but rental staff were incredibly prompt and helpful when we asked for things. The suite is large and clean and the whole resort is amazing. There were a few items we felt the suite needed or needed more of since there is no housekeeping but overall, it was great.

This was truly the perfect place for our family, we had so much fun at the pool, the beach and restaurants at the resort. The unit had great extra touches, such as the umbrella, cooler and beach chairs were used daily and great ideas!! The management was great, every request was dealt with professionally and quickly! Reilyn G was awesome, quick to respond and followed through with all of our needs. You will love it!!

We were very pleased with our suite and the resorts location in Kaanapali. This resort was a little more spread out that the others just south of us. Unfortunately, if you are expecting any kind of service for your room. You will be disappointed. We arrived and realized there were no sheets left for the pullout couch. We called Maui Rentals that evening and there was no one to bring sheets. After 3 more phone calls we finally got our sheets two days later. Unacceptable, especially during these times. If you enjoy sitting around the pool, you need to get there very early, because the seating is very limited.

With the exception of a grumpy bell hop at arrival and at departure (same person) the stay was wonderful. Clean and convenient! The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice not having to worry about dish soap and laundry detergent. The staff was overall super friendly and welcoming (other than bell hop). The view from our unit was great as it was away from the pool crowds and had a great view of the mountain. Pools were great and it’s beachside location was wonderful. We were not able to get a late checkout but were able to still use the facilities on the resort before we left which was very convenient as we had a late flight out. The staff at Maui resort rentals was helpful and attentive to any needs or questions we had. Maui was beautiful and our stay was wonderful. Can’t wait to plan our next trip here!

We wanted a quiet, clean, easy, baby friendly spot right by the beach. This place hit all the boxes. Great climate control, cool doors, easy access to resort stuff and the grocery store. Would totally do again.
We had the best time in Maui & this condo was the perfect home base for us!! It was so clean & had all the helpful basics in the kitchen! The beach chairs & cooler were incredibly helpful too - we used them everyday! And they were so thoughtful to have 5 beach chairs there waiting for our family of 5. The construction was literally a non-problem or issue in any way. We loved waking up & drinking coffee on the fully opened lanai. The property & pools were wonderful too! The WiFi was very helpful. Parking in Maui in general can be a bit tough (not enough available & tight spaces), but if the parking garage was full the valet parking was an easy go to for us too, which was great! This was a trip of a lifetime for us and our 3 teens! Thank you for everything!!
