The unit was fine. Location was good. A bit loud (next to a hotel bar), and no parking in the area (suggested garage was at capacity and eventually we parked hourly at the zoo and walked). Unfortunately, the air conditioner was not fully functioning and was not cooling the whole space so we lost use of the bed for 3 nights. Although we checked in on Monday and immediately called the property manager. it took three days for them to reach the owner and to have it replaced. So we suffered for three nights when the weather was a high of 90, 90 and 88 respectively. I asked VRBO to intervene, but they were only able to negotiate 30% off on the three nights (despite how uncomfortable we were, and despite the fact that I paid for a product that they did not fully deliver). Fixing the issue as soon as possible (which was by Thursday afternoon) does not unfortunately make up for three really tough nights. They should have comped the nights or discounted at least by %50. Ultimately it was too complicated to find somewhere else and we just made it work and I was stuck with what VRBO could get them to agree with. This would have been a different review had they handled this differently, but here we are.
Space was adequate for 2 adults and one child. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. Carpets, bathroom, and overall needed a deep scrubbing. Could also use a general update as decor is old. Floors were in need of reno, planks were separating. Shower doors could not be moved to close with breaking. Bed linens were nice and crisp white, towels were hotel qualutu, very nice. Location was noisy due to being so close to Kalakaua. Great for going to the beach.
We quite like this property. It unbeatable in terms of location and has a mini kitchen which is a big plus.
They used to have parking as well, but, unfortunately that's no longer available

IMO-This place was not good at all. It was old and dirty and the AC barely worked. The studio was clearly used weekly because it needed a real good deep cleaning-especially the bathroom and shower. The king bed was awful-they just threw a mattress topper on a super old bed. The twin beds in the kitchen were really old and uncomfortable. Unlike other vrbo’s I have stayed in-there was nothing extra in this room like extra coffee, sugar or a bottle of wine. They didn’t even have enough bowls. Only three. Also-none of the plates matched and there were random cups and mugs in the cabinets that looked like they came from an old yard sale. The owners here really should put some more pride into their rentals. We all have to pay a premium to stay in paradise-I just wished they cared more about their product. The hundred year old AC units that stick out of the kitchen windows with rusty sharp edges of the other units here make for a scary climb to your room. I would NOT stay ever again. None of the family slept well because it was too hot and uncomfortable. We did contact the owners once to see if we could check in early-we got a big fat no. The best part was that it was quiet and near the beach. Also, the linens were clean and nice even though they didn’t match.

The property is great, close to the beach, restaurants and transportation. The only downside is the 4 flights of stairs with no elevator. We knew about that before we booked so we tuffed it out.
The unit was amazing, close to all the action and the beach! Literally less than a 1 minute walk to the beach. It’s the next block from the strip with all the shopping and amazing restaurants. Starbucks is just around the corner from the unit either direction. There is tons of nightlife and yes you’ll hear most of it as expected being in the middle of a large city. The room is clean and fully stocked if you want to cook in. There’s also 3 beds. There’s no parking at the unit but if you have whit you can find parking next door either direction. We really enjoyed our stay. This property does not have a view, but does have a nice small balcony and the unit comes with things to be used at the beach such as chairs and boards. Hope this is helpful!

Perfect for low-cost Waikiki stay, but parking is very challenging: none included with unit. Nearby street and garage parking averaged about $40 per day.

Super convenient to ALL. We did rent a car and found a nearby parking garage that was perfect. It was a little tight for 4 adults but still worked just fine.

Overall stay was great, for the price the room was very equipped and comfortable, only complaint is the area around the hotel, particularly the street to access the property could get very sketchy at night. Despite this I would certainly stay here again for the price we paid and the straightforward directions to access and leave the property.
This property has everything that a home has. There is laundry on site, full kitchen (with all the pots, pans, utensils, a rice cooker, coffee pot, and more), and room for a couple with two children (or 4 adults total, but two will sleep on twin size beds). Very close to Waikiki Beach, a 3 minute walk at most. Communication was great, as I had questions, the property managers promptly replied and assisted. If you have a car, make sure you reserve a parking spot, or you'll need to park on the street. Overall, I'd book here again on my next stay.
