This place was simply awesome. We went with our toddler boy-girl twins and grand parents and everyone had an amazing time. The house has views of the ocean and sunset on one side and the mountains on the other. The pools were awesome and my toddlers had sooo much fun in the kiddie pool as well as the larger pool (with us holding them). Having Dukes on the premises was a huge plus and just few steps away from the beach. I was so happy with our stay that I actually looked up on redfin to see if i should buy a condo there in the property... lol. We definitely plan on returning here!

Beautiful apartment with amazing views of the ocean and mountains. Perfectly located next to a beach that has a wonderful reef that you can snorkel at and view the wonderful life that lives there. The pools and restaurant are an added bonus.

This condo met and exceeded my familys needs. It was easy to access and had beautiful ocean and mountain views. The extra touches such as detergents, soaps, cleaning supples and toilet paper were much appreciated. We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo and resort.

Great property! This is my second time here at this resort and I wanted to bring my kids to show them Maui for the first time. We spent most of the week snorkeling different bays here on the west side and an all day trip to Hana. Great sunsets, quality property and fantastic location for what we had in mind. Mahalo

Very nice property. Well kept and comfortable. Clean and convenient to all the Honua Kai amenities. On a nice beach with access to many pools. Kitchen is servicable but if you like to cook or plan to do much family cooking ykull be looing for bigger pots and pans.

The Honua Kai resort was perfect for our family of four's needs. It has Duke's restaurant on property, ample pools, and you can jump right into the ocean in front of the resort. As for the condo itself, it was good overall. The only suggestions I'd have would be to have some basic condiments in the condo. We had to go buy our own salt and pepper; it would've been nice to have that in the kitchen. The kitchen knives are old and need to be replaced, and there are no measuring spoons, and there were only two containers for food leftovers. It would've been nice to have the kitchen more equipped for cooking needs.
There are three televisions in the condo unit, but only one is a smart TV, so we never used the tv's in the bedrooms due to that issue. Again, it would be nice to have the televisions upgraded.
All of these are minor issues, but things that other travelers might find useful.
Overall our stay was great, and we will definitely stay at Honua Kai again.
