Beautiful one bedroom with spectacular ocean view. Offers very comfortable, private an well equipped accommodation - all the comforts of home. Imagine sitting on your private lanai, during the day watching the sea and maybe seeing dolphins or whales, or during the evening watching a gorgeous Hawaiian sunset and perhaps even a green flash! Inside is a well stocked kitchen with all updated appliances, tiled flooring throughout, central A/C, 2 flat screen TVs, Queen pillow-top bed, and a large walk-in shower. Wireless internet is provided along with free long distance calling the mainland USA and Canada. There is a coin-op shared washer/dryer on-site..
Casa de Emdeko is an oceanfront condo complex located on Alii Drive just 2 miles from downtown Kona. This popular complex features two swimming pools, an ocean front man made beach and a common area to include Gas BBQ Grills dining tables and a covered cabana. One pool is on the ocean's edge and a second chlorine pool is located mid way through the property. There is a beautifully manicured courtyard area with a wide variety of tropical plants, trees, flowers and water features.
*Please note that this complex has frequent temporary water shut offs. There will be no compensation for water shut offs.
Minimum night varies seasonally between 4 - 10 nights. Property is non-ADA compliant, non-smoking, and no pets allowed.

The gardens, salt water pool, and the common area are what makes this place so special. The view of the ocean from our lanai was great. Location was good, close to everything. This is our second time staying at Casa De Emdeko, and not the last!

The property and location are good and fairly centrally located. This place is super quiet at night which is so nice!! The ocean was quite rough which was disappointing and spectacular at the same time. It did however mean that the ocean pool was closed for 4 days during our stay. The ocean pool is beautiful and our choice over the main pool. The main pool is not as quiet and requires a little TLC to bring it up to par. The secure parking is a little on the limited side and we often had to park outside of the gate. There are several cars that appear to be parked here long term ( absent owners?) and that ties up some of the spots for the rest. All and all a great spot and we would certainly not hesitate to rent here again.

Unit was great for the money. Have stayed in the complex before, which is nice location to everything. Unit was very clean, and had pretty decent ocean view. Common bbq grills are great amenity!
Unit did not have beach chairs/cooler which would have been nice.

The condo was wonderful! Beautiful view, great location, very clean, and updated. The kitchen was well stocked and great that they had beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler available to use. The communication from the owners before and during our stay was great. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I really enjoyed the location, right on the water. Great view from the lanai of the sunsets. Comfortable home on the third floor of the complex. There is one elevator available. Thanks for having things like beach chairs, umbrella, snorkels and ice chests available for guest to use. Nice comfortable bed! No sign of critters except the geckos outside. Everything works great inside. We loved the salt water pool and use of grills to use in the courtyard area. We'd highly recommend for 1-2 people.

Great location in this small quiet property right on the water. The unit was super clean. Beautiful views from the Lanai and the bedroom. The people that live there year round were super friendly and welcoming. Two pools, one salt water. Very well cared for grounds. I enjoyed my stay very much.
