4/5/2024: Waikiki Sunset is undergoing an air conditioning maintenance project from April 22, 2024 through May 2025. Visible construction work around the property and some intermitten noise is expected. No work will be done within occupied condos. For all projects, work hours will be restricted to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although this rental did have some shortcomings, Alii Rentals were very prompt in addressing the issues when I reported them. The staff was very courteous and strove to correct the issues. Also, I love the free parking and the ample size of the parking spaces. Although the ocean view was limited, we saw many beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the room is outdated mainly the rugs and couch. there was a popcorn bag under the couch when we pulled out the bed and the rugs need a good cleaning or replaced. the building is the same way the carpet needs replaced. they was working on the building and we was out of power a couple times while we was there. the pictures do not have the rugs in them they should just be removed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first experience at the Waikiki Sunset. While the building is older, the room was very well kept. It did not feel old or out of date at all. Checking in was easy and everything went very smooth. The location was extremely convenient and the neighborhood was safe. Walking to the beach, food or entertainment was way and very close by. The view was nice. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Reviewer Comments: Nice building, free parking with Vrbo rental, big full 1 bedroom 1 bath unit with free internet and 2 cable tvs Coffee pot was the only disappointment. Would rent again but Waikiki is getting so packed I think we’ll just cruise from now on.

The faint noise you could hear if you were in the bathroom was not bothersome. I would surely rent again this appartment. Mahalo!
