Families return year after year to vacation at Kamaole Sands, and once you stay at unit 8-402 you’ll understand why. The 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom air-conditioned condo is lovely, the complex includes a swimming pool, tennis courts, a has a brand new split a/c system, a fitness center, and one of Maui’s best beaches is just across the road. Airy and bright, the open-plan living/dining area of Kamaole Sands 8-402 features tiled floors (wonderfully cool underfoot after a day at the beach), a dining table that seats 6, and a plush couch and armchairs for relaxing after a day of fun in the sun. There’s plenty of room for everyone to hang out and watch a movie on the large HDTV cable, listen to music on the CD player, or play charades.
Another option is to hang out, and even dine, on Kamaole Sands 8-402’s spacious partially covered balcony. It’s furnished with a dining table that, like the one inside, easily seats 6. The rhythmic ocean waves provide the perfect background music, and any meal tastes better when savored among the salt-tinged sea breeze. Having your very own alfresco dining area gives you all the more reason to appreciate the unit’s fabulously outfitted kitchen. With its stainless-steel appliances, generous granite counter space, and bevy of cookware and tableware, the kitchen makes cooking a pleasure.
Kamaole Sands 8-402 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Having a full bathroom for each bedroom is so convenient: You can indulge in a long steamy shower or bath without a line forming on the other side of the door. And while we’re on the subject of convenience, the unit has its own washer and dryer, so you can pack light without having to waste precious vacation time in a communal laundry room.
The primary suite makes up unit 8-402’s loft. You can sprawl out on the california king-size bed and watch TV, surf the web via the free WiFi, get lost in a good book, or simply drift to sleep beneath the gentle breeze of the ceiling fan. With its elegantly tiled shower and double sinks, the ensuite primary bathroom makes primping a pleasure.

Perfect spot for our vacation. 5 minutes from kamaole 3 and a 10 minute walk from Kihei shops and restaurants. Clean comfortable spot, easy check in and out :)

Plan to wash every dish in the house by hand instead of your first day at the beach! Dishwasher doesn’t work, 2 full cycles and dishes were still dirty. All of the dishes in the cupboards has food caked to them, glasses all greesy etc… I was hoping for an ocean view for the money but only one chair on the deck has a view of the ocean, this unit is at the back of the complex, the furthest away from the beach possible.
Snorkel gear, lawn chairs, cooler and umbrella were super awesome little perks.
For the money I was really expecting a lot more.

This was a clean and comfortable condo. Everything was exactly as pictured in the listing, but the view from the lanai was better than expected. There are mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. It was a very quiet area, especially in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was in working order, and the beds and furniture were comfortable. My only complaint was communication with the property manager. I called a couple of times to ask questions and always got voicemail. Messages were not returned. However, they did call to remind me to check-in with the front desk and were very friendly.

Very clean unit with plenty of space for our family of 4. The property is nice and only a very quick walk across the street to one of the best beaches we visited. We swam with sea turtles and snorkeled thanks to the snorkel equipment provided. I loved that there was a gym in the condo community. We will definitely go back to Maui again someday and would definitely stay here again.
