We had a great time at the Hale as usual. The condo Wes great well equiped and a great location. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. The only thing that is weird is there is no phone in the condo. Might want to add one. We did have one issue with people above us running and dropping things on the floor at all hours of the night. We called the office after 3 days of this and it was dealt with that same day. All in all we had a great time and will be back on March in this condo for 2 weeks.

I was not expecting a luxurious condo even though I have had very nice, renovated places at Hale Kameole before. However, there were a few things that could some attention in this unit. I know life is a challenge for a lot of people but investment properties need reinvestment on occasion. ( ie. new sheets, newer items beach items, a TV with one remote that is current with the technology.Also, cleaning staff could take a little more care with cleaning.I spent most of my time outside so these things did not keep me awake but I feel this would improve things for all renters.

This was our 5th stay at HK and second in unit 130. Condo and grounds were in their usual great shape! You get for what you pay for here - if you want high end and fancy, you will want to go somewhere else but you will pay 3-4 times as much. If you need somewhere clean and nice at the right price and an awesome location, this is the place. Our unit, while a bit dated, was very clean and had everything we needed (I would add that we did need more than two cereal/dessert bowls).Ground floor is great because of easy access to the pools and bbq, but don't expect much of a view from the lanai. However, a great view of the ocean is only about 30 feet away up the path. If we get back to Maui again, this will once again be our first choice for accoms.

We recently spent 9 days in Kihei at Hale Kamaole 130. We were travelling with 12 family members, 4 generations, in a number of condos at the property. The swimming pool and BBQS were merely a hop, skip and a jump from our lanai and the beach a 5 minute walk from our door. Talk about a convenient location! Unit 130 was clean and bright with all the comforts of home but better cuz we weren’t home! I would highly recommend staying there...we’ll be back for sure!!

We loved the location and feel of the complex. Quiet, respectful folks all happy to be having a good time in Maui. Beautiful weather. Our unit #130 however did not meet our expectations. The bedroom smelled moldy due to an old rug that needs to be replaced. The fans were dusty and the walls need to be painted. All easy things to do to make this a more appealing unit. We would stay at this location again but would hope to get a more updated unit. We did go to the office and they couldn't help move us to another unit. We had reserved 2 years ahead, were glad to get a credit for this year, however they changed our unit three times before we arrived despite voicing our displeasure with the new location. Had initially booked on the second floor and finally found ourselves on the main floor behind a hedge.

The location is great. Pool and barbecue just steps away. Tennis/pickle ball court right below unit (not a noise problem for us). The unit was surface clean, but the carpets in the bedroom are very dirty. I would not walk in bare feet. The ceiling around the fan was covered in dust, as was the air conditioning unit and the window blinds above the AC. There was no vacuum, that I could find, so I couldn’t clean it myself. This unit definitely needs some maintenance and a deep clean. The management did provide missing amenities in a timely fashion.I would recommend this property to others, once the deep clean and maintenance has been done.There are some great restaurants nearby, Fred’s Mexican Restaurant. A great cinnamon bun place in Kihei plaza. A health food store with gluten free and specialty items. Trying to remember the name. I think it was Hawaiian Moon, or something like that. Also if you need any medical assistance, Minit Medical, was very good. One in Kahului and Kihei. A great coffee spot is Akamai coffee, great latte’s. A great pizza place in Paia, called Flatbread company.

Epic! The facility was nice, the people were nice, our unit had a closet that had snorkel gear, beach chairs, a wagon, umbrellas, and everything you could need for the beach. It was such a great surprise to not have to rent anything.

This was our first time in Maui and we were so happy to have found this condo. It had everything we needed and more. Lots of kitchen supplies, cooking ingredients, working washer and drier, lots of towels, etc. The location was excellent with many restaurants close by. A beautiful beach across the street and many other within minutes. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
