The view from your lanai is beautiful. We saw turtles every day in the water! The location is great as it is a quick drive to Napili, whalers village, and great places for food (captain jacks next door) .The condo staff was very friendly and there was plenty of parking. However, this place could use a really good deep clean and replacement of a few items. For example, the fans were so dusty and dirty, I spent 20 mins cleaning the one next to the bed and let’s be real, a replacement fan.. 20 bucks. There is beach equipment but only 1 good chair and the rest of the items were rusty, dusty and grimy. We ended up just renting an extra chair and umbrella from boss frogs. We had constant bugs ( I think
ants) in the kitchen. It’s a tropical place so I wasn’t surprised but they could be managed better. All and all… If you’re not going to be spending much time in the room and don’t mind sub par cleanliness, then this is your place!
Amazing views. Small beach is great. If you plan to go further out, bring beach shoes as it gets rocky/coral reefy. Room was basic but functional and clean. Be sure and check your vehicle in at the kiosk at the front desk if arriving after hours. Short drive to Kaanapali beaches and attractions.
The location is perfect. The view is the best for the price. We have stayed at Valley Isle many times. The weather was perfect, 1 hour of mist and 3 weeks of 85 degrees and sunny. The unit was very outdated and had a minimum of dishes and cutlery, so we had to wash the dishes everyday. Other than that it was OK.
Great place, Very Clean, Nice facility. Would definitely stay again. Was here for the Maui invitational basketball tourney.
We loved the views, we were so close to the ocean and saw turtles swimming right there out front! We never tried the pool. Check in and parking was simple. There was 2 keys provided which was nice, we kept one in the lock box in case we lost the one we were carrying around. We loved the proximity to everything around the town. Balcony was very nice. Functional bathroom and kitchen. We were unsure if there was a washer/dryer somewhere in the building but we didn’t want to have to do that anyway and wait for our clothes so we just hand washed some stuff in the tub. The lawn chairs provided came in handy. Only would recommend you leave a cooler for guest to borrow too at the beach :) We would come back 100% if we come back to Maui.
We really enjoyed our stay at the condo! The location is amazing right between some great snorkeling spots. The view is absolutely incredible. The property is well maintained and pool is awesome. The condo itself is very bare bones. We tried to make a Digiorno Pizza one night and realized although there is an oven; there aren’t oven mitts, a baking sheet or even a pizza cutter. We felt as if everything was very dated and lacked many supplies usually found in a VRBO. Also the TV stopped working halfway through (which didn’t bother us too much).. It seemed to be being replaced as we checked out. Overall, worth the location.
The head of the shower was not working, we called and nobody answered, it was hard to takr bath...everything else was perfect

The condo was cleaner than I expected from the reviews. The view was incredible, just like in the photos. We saw lots of whales. We ate out on the lanai most of the time and drank our coffee out there in the morning. The sound of the waves was heavenly. I imagine it would get stuffy in summer without air conditioning. There is a box fan to help with airflow. Really basic kitchen supplies. Only had salt, pepper, and Creole seasoning stocked in the kitchen. I left some olive oil and Basalmic vinegar behind in hopes it would help others. I think a cookie sheet would be a nice addition for the kitchen and I agree with another review that new lampshades would really perk the place up. I vacuumed the ceiling because there was lint hanging from it. It only took a few minutes. The vacuum is in the closet. It definitely made the place feel nicer once that was done. All in all, I thought it was a tremendous value. I wasn't looking for anything fancy though.

PROS:If you’re going for view and proximity to beach this is a great place to stay. We had a fantastic time in Maui. Could see turtles and whales from lanai. Beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed our meals on the lanai each morning and evening. No AC but really didn’t need it with the wonderful ocean breeze and fans. Not sure I’d want to stay in the summer with no AC. Well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear. Had a leak under the kitchen sink and screen to lanai was torn but management was very quick to respond and fix both issues. The grounds were well kept and beautiful during our stay. Check in and check out was very easy. Ample free parking.CONS: The unit is very outdated but with that being said, we are not fussy travelers and don’t need the newest and greatest when it comes to decor. However, cleanliness is very important. This unit needs a very good thorough cleaning and fresh coat of paint. The lamp shades are dirty with stains (new shades are an inexpensive fix and would make a huge difference in overall appearance), the tower fan was full of dust, there were dust particles dangling from the popcorn ceiling. There are also very limited electrical outlets which was a little inconvenient when using small kitchen appliances and trying to charge electronic devices but we made it work. Could use another power strip for additional outlets. All the temp settings on the stove are worn off making it difficult to determine temp setting when cooking. We cooked most our meals in the unit so this made cooking challenging.If you’re looking for luxury accommodations this is not the place to stay, but if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay on Maui with a million dollar view I would definitely recommend it. It wouldn’t take much to improve this unit dramatically with a some elbow grease, a little paint and a few inexpensive upgrades.
This property is a bit dated but clean, well kept, and beautiful. We really loved being here.
The room was clean and has everything you need to have an excellent relaxing stay. I can't imagine any other hotel having a better view and accessibility to the beach. The room has no AC but the fans and the ability to keep the doors open for the cool ocean breeze made up for it. The place is very quiet, no rowdy parties or anything of the like. Super relaxing and will book this location if available every time!
