This is a beautiful unit, with an amazing view. My only complaint is with Chase N Rainbows' maintenance and/or housekeeping staff. When we checked in, the carpet in the second bedroom had a soaking wet spot left over from an AC repair. I called, but nobody came to dry it out. There were also cockroaches in the kitchen, and they said that they would set bait stations, but never did. Nevertheless, I will definitely come back to this unit again.

We just stayed in the wonderful unit at Royal Kahana and there no description of the view that can fully provide you the experience. 180 degree view of Lanai & Molokai. Sunrise every morning highlights Lanai and sunset splits the islands. The unit is very comfortable and we used it as home base to entertain our two daughters & their families (9 of us) for dinners. The Kahana Bay location is wonderful to explore West Maui. Beaches, hiking and restaurants. Thanks for hosting us Chase N Rainbows your wonderful hosts.

Our return visit to this location after having been owners here. Chase'N Rainbows does a great job with their units and they are very responsive to any issues that may arise during a stay. We had minor one with the Coffee Maker and it was replaced that day (a Sunday) without any problem. Location, Location, Location could not be more true than at The Royal Kahana. Many whales sightings, numerous turtle sighting from our balcony and while snorkeling. Conveniently located but not in a real busy area.Well worth it.Mahalo to Chase'N RainbowsJerry & Dianne

Come at peak whale season (we came 1st week in Feb) and you will see non-stop whales right from your balcony. Whales spouting, breaching, fin and tail slapping, mothers, babies, even sea turtles...we saw it all from our perfect viewpoint. The unit had everything we needed to cook our meals and sleep two couples comfortably. You could invite the whole building up for a drink and still never run out of glasses. Comfy sofa and chairs, smart TV, great wifi, keyless entry (no check in required), three bathrooms...but who cares about all that when you will spend all of your time out on that amazing balcony?? My only suggestion would be to provide some basic kitchen staples like salt, pepper, oil, etc. It gets expensive having to buy all that stuff just for a one week stay.
