It was very relaxing and access to the beach was within walking distance.Kitchen was fully equipped. Check in was a breeze !!!
We had a great stay at the cottage! We were here for three nights; I would’ve loved to stay longer. The location is very convenient (3 to 5 min drive to Poipu Beach; 5 min from a nearby shopping center). The property was very clean and well maintained. AC units worked well on a couple extra warm days we had. Easy parking (private driveway). Peaceful neighborhood with a nearby path for running/hiking. Also want to shout out the Poipu365 staff who were very quick to respond to (and fix) a minor issue we had. Would absolutely love an opportunity to stay here again.

Furniture/beds were comfy. 2 broken beach chairs, but found 2 others. The shutters on the windows need repair. Also could use paint on kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Bedroom AC's work but really noisy. Minimally stocked, like basics, paper and pencil for grocery list. Just needs some TLC. Location to the beach was great!

This property is extremely clean, quiet and in the perfect location. They had everything that we needed to have the most amazing stay.
Good location, close to places...not walking distances but short drive to most beaches, restaurants and shopping center. Gave a 4.5 rating due to pool access location. Had to drive to get there and pool was not that great but the rest of the facility was nice if your into working out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there with our family.

Our stay in this lovely unit was wonderful. Poipu 365 responded quickly to a couple of issues. The two separate bedrooms complete with tv and own bathrooms was super for our group. A quiet area and close walk to the beach. Lovely stay.
The property was wonderful. It easily accomodated all of us and had plenty of room. Even found an inflatable mattress and a pac-n-play (did not need the latter). Adult children decided not to share the bed with the availability of the mattress. Kitchen stocked with everything you could want - even a coffee grinder and pineapple corer! We did not use the grill but thought about it and checked the propane tank - it was full. We used the laundry. They did change from tide to allergy free soap based on a previous review!. Location was awesome and on right by the parh to the beach. Wpuld definitely stay at a propery managed by them again if I need accommodations in Poipu.

Good value, convenient location, free standing House.
We really enjoyed staying here. The place was in a great location, easily walkable to 3 beaches, the accommodations were clean and plentiful. Quick response from maintenance regarding a minor issue. Overall this is a PERFECT place to stay!

The cottage was great. It was clean and stocked with all the essentials. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. The beach was a short walk through the beautiful property. We had a great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hale Loke Cottage. We missed not having a backyard but our in-laws were staying in the Hale Ko Cottage so we spent every evening over there visiting and checking out all the stars in the sky! The refrigerator door looks very rusty tho (I'm sure because of the humidity) and maybe needs to be replaced or some kind of cover applied? Loved Kauai and already thinking about another trip in a couple years.

Hale Loke Cottage is a sweet, clean and comfortable home base for exploring Kauai. Situated amongst several resorts, the little cottage is tucked between the walking path, a neighboring condo parking lot and main roads. It’s both private and a little loud. The house is well stocked with all you need for a vacation including beach chairs, a cooler, boogie boards etc. The house is a 10 minute walk from two great, kid friendly beaches and about 10 minutes for a beach with bigger surf. You’re also working walking distance of several restaurants. Access to both the Athletic Club pool and a pool on the resort is a treat too. If you’re the type of person who enjoys hanging on a comfortable lanai looking at a beautiful view, this place will leave you wanting more. But if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place to eat and sleep, this is it!
My family recently visited Kauai for the first time and let me tell you, we will absolutely be back. This was our first vacation rental through Vrbo and it was just perfect. We have a 6 mo old baby and were so appreciative to have a Pack ‘n Play available in the rental. We used the provided beach chairs and beach towels daily - awesome things that we weren’t expecting. Several times a day we enjoyed walking to either Poipu beach or Shipwreck beach - either is about 1 mile round trip. We walked to a small fresh fruit and veggie stand across the main road. There is an incredible coffee and açaí bowl place a few minutes drive from the rental. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the location! My husband and I have already talked about making this an annual trip! If you haven’t visited Hawai'i before, know that you have to be so mindful not to leave dirty dishes, food (even fruits and veggies we are accustomed to leaving on the counter), or a glass of juice out. In the blink of an eye you will find that baby spiders or ants have seemingly appeared out of nowhere all at once. I left a plastic spoon out to be washed after feeding my baby some açaí bowl and came back 10 min later to find it covered in tiny bugs. I am a clean freak and this was the only occurrence. One rec for mgmt: use a non-toxic laundry detergent. My family is very sensitive to scent and the smell of all of the linens washed with Tide was overwhelming for us. We appreciate the cleanliness though. Thank you!

This is the third year consecutive year that we have stayed in the Hale Loke Cottage. We enjoy the location especially as we like to walk. The deck is a place we spend a fair amount of time for coffee & meals. It is starting to show ware. We understand the weather is hard on things. The kitchen could use more items so the diswasher doesn't need to be run so often, for example there are only 3 drinking mugs.The thing that makes us unhappy about staying at this property is paying for the Athletic Club when we never use it. I have no ideas why this is mandatory!! We have paid $985.00 for this in 3 years and never use it! It is nice to have access to the property management company if there is an issue. We did ask them about access to more TV channels for hockey games of which we were willing to pay but never heard back about this. Cher was very helpful when we needed items copied and scanned. This place is the perfect stop for southern Kauai access to beaches and almost anything! The place was clean and is great for 4 people to stay! It was great to have the garage and the deck too with the washing machine, etc.
Spent 13 nights. The home itself is nice. Quiet. Two nice bedrooms and each have associated showers/bathrooms. You are located within the Poipu tourist area, but the cottage is as close it gets to a private home in the area. The walk to Poipu and Shripwrect beach are about 10-15 mins and the walk itself is along a lovely well kept green trail (either direction). This was our first time in Kauai, but i cannot complain. We ate out mostly, but have multiple wonderful meals at home using the kitchen (basic, but all essentials covered). It felt like a tropical paradise. We will be back. There are always minor complaints, ours were miniscule: how does the TV remote work (we figured it out, but took 4 days, and weren’t trying the first 3 days.), the kitchen items are basic, but more than enough for average. LOCATION is the key. Walking to the nearby beaches and NO CAR might actually work if you’re only staying for 2-3 nights, otherwise, you’ll want a car. And then your explorations and discoveries will be the problem. There are soo many cool little towns and great little places to eat. PS I must send a shout out to Salt Pond Beach for the little kids. It’s a nearly perfect calm area for <7-8 year olds. But has awesome snorkeling and relatively few tourists. Poipu and Shipwreck beach are amazing, but there are LOTS of other people. In summary 5 stars!
