The view from this unit is unmatched. We loved being able to hear the waves when we fell asleep each night. Definitely hope to return!

Mahana 618 was amazing. It is as close to the beach as you can get. Beautiful views and everything you need to have a great get away.
A very quiet and seemingly private property located near lots of restaurants and cafés!We are staring right at the ocean watching fantastic sunsets and listening to the waves crash just below us.
The view can't be beat! I have stayed on Maui a few times, and this is the closest to the water that I have found. So beautiful! We saw turtles and whales, from the lanai, and living room, everyday. Everything was spotless, when we arrived, and worked perfectly. The food trucks are a short walk and had a great variety. The air conditioner was much appreciated! I feel like I could live in this home.(wishful thinking) haha Seriously, I would recommend this home, in a heartbeat, and hopefully will be able to return.
Couldn't ask for a better view. The beach is very close, but there are a lot of rocks a short ways out so when we wanted to swim we walked about 3/4 mile south. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Clean and comfortable. I slept in the king size bed and my son on the hide-a-bed, which worked fine.Initially had a little trouble getting a response from Vacasa the first time I tried, but after that all was good. One thing I would keep in mind: The only real complaints I could find online had to do with the A/C not working. Worked fine for us, and with those big west-facing windows it was running all day long and at best kept it at about 76, which was fine. But if it hadn't been working it would have been really hot. I inquired before we left to make sure it was going to be working and was told it was, and that it was just serviced. I saw some kind of a note in the condo that said A/C would be unavailable May-June-July. Seems unbelievable. I wouldn't stay there without A/C. But as I said, didn't affect us. When we left there was a sticker on the door that said the A/C was being serviced that day. So something is very odd about the A/C, and I would recommend making sure it is in service. But our stay went well and I really don't have any complaints.
This condo was absolutely perfect and in a great location! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The view from the balcony was incredible...we saw lots of whales breaching and spouting and we saw a big turtle. The sunsets were breathtaking too! The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable and the condo was very clean. The bonus was the access to the balcony from the living room and bedroom. Also, the on-site concierge, Carla, was very helpful and friendly. We went to Duke's Beach House for several meals, since it's a close walk and the view there is awesome. We went scuba diving, snorkeling, took a tour of the Ocean Organic Vodka Distillery (another awesome, panoramic view) and did some shopping in Whaler's Village. We also attended a luau at the Hyatt Regency, down the road. A few other restaurants we enjoyed were Japengo (at the Hyatt Regency), Sea House (at Napili Kai) and Hula Grill (in Whaler's Village). They all had fantasic views! I highly recommend this condo and I hope to go back soon!!!
We really loved this condo; views, location, and layout. It is accurately depicted in the pictures and there were no surprises. Walkable to everything you could need: grocery store, car rental, cafes, restaurants and so much more. We will book here again without a doubt. We watched so many whales, turtles and rainbows just about every morning. The blood moon setting and casting a moon shadow in the wee hours was captivating. All around A
Beautiful condo with floor to ceiling views of the ocean where we frequently saw whales and turtles. The beach was very nice, but the area overall is mostly resorts, you have to pay to park in hotel garages when visiting any of the nearby beaches. Unfortunately the property management team at Vacasa put a damper on our experience. When we checked in we learned there was planned electrical work in the building and we would be without electricity, wifi and air conditioning throughout most of the next day. We booked this as a location to work remotely from, so the lack of wifi was an issue. We reached out to Vacasa for help and they were absent and dismissive. They never responded to emails, took days to respond to messages, and when they finally did respond they just said it was “out of our control and there isn’t much we could have done.” I ended up working from my rental car in a Starbucks parking lot. When the electricity came back we texted and messaged Vacasa asking about late checkout, they didn’t respond to the request for 48 hours, after we had already checked out.
The unit was perfect. The views of the ocean and location were amazing.
We had a great stay at the Mahana! The location was phenomenal (best snorkeling ever right outside our door), close to many restaurants, and we could see turtle after turtle from our balcony. Highly recommended!
Furniture was dated and worn but clean. Well stocked kitchen but oven did not work and this was a big problem for our plans to cook. Pool and spa were wonderful.
Very pleased with our stay, the condo was everything advertised and more. Very clean, roomy, and beautiful views! If we ever return to Maui will definitely stay here again!
Under normal circumstances, I’m sure this room is exceptional! We arrived at a time when the AC system was being upgraded or fixed. We were warned ahead of time, and we figured we would be fine, but stepping into the unit was very, very hot!! The temp read 96 degrees inside. The unit did have 2 fans and a swamp cooler?? One of those that you added water to, but this cooler seemed old. I had trouble figuring out how to use it. We ran into a neighbor who said she’s a 20 year old owner and she suggested we leave the front door open and let the air flow through. That worked great!! It cooled off the unit better than the little cooler provided. She also told us it was safe. We stayed in 618, which was at the end of the hall…. So we didn’t have to worry about anyone walking by. I wish we had been told about this alternative way to cool the unit from the beginning. That’s all it needed. Other than that, Vacasa/ The Owners refunded me a bit back on my stay for the inconvenience, and that was appreciated! I would definitely recommend this unit for a stay! The view is exceptional!! I liked that the beach below was never too crowded. We went walking toward the hotel/resort areas and the amount of people on those beaches was outrageous! I was thankful for our area that was less populated and had plenty of room on the beach to swim, lounge & sit without much disturbance. And it wasn’t loud. The food trucks are nearby, The Times grocery store is right across the street. It’s a great area.
Mahana is a great resort for those looking for some peace and quiet. Mahana is right on the rim of all the fun the beach boardwalk offers. The pool is smaller but very well maintained and the reef along the resort is awesome. You can see turtles everyday come and go with the tides. We would definitely stay again.
The property itself is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! We were not told at time of booking about construction, only after the fact. Were assured there would be portable AC units sufficient to cool the condo. It did not! The room was 85-83 both nights we managed to make it! In constant contact with booking firm. Not happy at all about arrangements! Entirely unacceptable for the money paid for accommodations. One person from management company did not even respond/answer call! Broken chair on balcony. Refrigrerator filters (water and ice) needed to be replaced. Were told we would be moved to another unit with AC. Given 3 choices. Told the other one had been checked and had working AC. It did not even have AC. Long story...but to make it short, we were given a complete refund - after staying 2 nights at the first unit, in an 85 degree room, moving everything to another unit that did not even have AC, then finding and booking our own reservations at another location. Not something you want to do after saving, planning, and looking forward to a relaxing, peaceful, vacation of a lifetime in Maui! First and last time to book any reservations with Vacasa. Have used VRBO many times, with success. But never again with Vacasa!
My daughter and I decided to go on a “girls” vacation and we sure picked the perfect location. The condo was perfect in every way- it was clean and included everything that we needed for the week. The location is ideal and close to everything. The ocean view is spectacular, it’s mesmerizing to just relax and take it all in. Highly recommend this beautiful rental.
Amazing views, proximity to beach and shopping necessities. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was very clean and had some great interiors. The sea views from the apartment are the best you could get anywhere. The service was prompt and Vacasa maintained good communication keeping us up to date.
Location and view of the ocean are spectacular.
Fabulous condo on the ocean. Well stocked and very clean. Had everything we could possibly need to prepare breakfast daily and have afternoon cocktails overlooking the ocean. First day, the coffee maker was not working and within hours we had a brand new replacement. Amazing customer service. Unfortunately, A/C did not work for the entire stay and I expect Vacasa or the homeowner will compensate us for this.
Location was great, direct ocean front. Washer/Dryer in unit as well as laundry detergent was a major plus!

We loved that the bedroom had the same view and also access to the balcony. We loved this property!! It was absolutely perfect for two people. They supplied beach chairs and umbrellas which was super great! You can walk the beach in both directions or walk to restaurants via the beach or boardwalk that is conveniently located just off the parking area. Having a washer and dryer was another added bonus. We look forward to being able to stay at this property again!!!
Unit was well furnished and clean. Only complaint is that MB sun screen was broken in the down position. I called Vacasa upon checkin to request the screen’s repair, and it wasn’t during our 5 day stay. I had to rig a temporary solution to keep the screen up.
Our stay was terrific. Aside from the beauty and charm and all that Maui offers our Mahana rental was great. Clean and comfortable and well appointed.
A couple of minor issues that would have been nice to knows going in would have been good though. Once we had communicated the issues, they were acknowledged and already going to be dealt with.
Wouldn't hesitate to book there again! Thanks for the wonderful home for our vacation!

Great view of the ocean during the day and fantastic view of the stars at night! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the tasty restaurants and fun activities close by. Definitely would recommend!
